Summary
Mount wasn't sure how he'd gotten himself here. Well actually, he knew exactly why he was here. It probably had something to do with pining for the same guy for eight years, working as his partner in paranormal work for four of them, being rejected countless times and after finally trying to move on, said partner punching his boyfriend in the face at an office party.
It also likely has something to do with being replaced by the cute new office heart throb and being avoided like the plague after finally thinking he might've had a shot.
But what he can't figure out is what on earth possessed him to drive over to Bread's house at 2 in the morning in the middle of a thunderstorm and how hes now face to face with bread, who is now sitting in his passenger seat, wearing a hastily put together outfit including a t-shirt, a rain jacket, slippers, and wet hair dripping onto his boxers.
His ears are ringing now, because surely they must've heard incorrectly. He was just yelling at bread, accusing him of ghosting him for the new hire and his stupid ginger hair and now he's being asked if he likes him.
