Vanora expected another joke, for that smirk that lingered on his lips to tease her some more. It had annoyed her that he could not be a little more serious about this. But then, he had uttered those words that stilled her and left her mouth agape.
"I am an agent of Fen'Harel, an old friend of his—and soon, I will awaken him." Mere second for a breath, "—and when I do, I would much like to have you at my side."
Felassan was right, she did laugh.
