Qin Jiu’s frown deepened. That would very much be a punishment for him. But since You Huo was here, he figured he could have a bit of fun. He turned to look at You Huo . His hands were folded tightly in his lap, and he was gazing intently at the floor. The blush from earlier had deepened, spreading across his nose and cheeks. He had not the demeanor of a man who wanted nothing more than a nap (as he usually did) but one that brimmed with restlessness and…desire? Want?
Qin Jiu pondered for a moment, then came to the conclusion that he was the reason You Huo was acting this way. This realization did wonders for his confidence about the whole situation, which led him to boldly voice his thoughts aloud.
“I have a feeling punishment wasn’t the reason you brought me into your confinement room.”
