Mir, a different looking Murder Drone wakes up and gets a mission, "Kill [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]." Knowing that's what she was made for, she goes and does it! Uh, sort of... She regrets killing one of them afterwards and joins up with the main cast from Season 1 to save them, going into their mind with the help of Uzi. And through all of this, she's wondering "What truly am I? What was my past?"

Chapter 1: PROLOGUE

Chapter Text

"Let your destiny consume you. Let it let it let it let le-e-e-e-e-"

A drone's eyes flash on, glowing a pale yellow. All it has to go off of is its code as it tries to observe its surroundings, unable to see well in the dark. Its night vision activates and it notices that it's higher off of the ground than it expected, sitting in a chair with its wrists strapped to it. It was on a stage like structure, with stairs leading down into a long hall covered in equipment, a beam of flickering light emitting from a cracked open door at the end. Activating this function allows it to access tidbits of information as to who it is and how to function. It reads the information out loud.

"Gender assigned: Female
Manufacture date: [REDACTED]
Assigned Name: MIR-XCCDD
Willingness to write the rest of this: 0%"

Her own voice, high-pitched and creaky sounding, scares her, and she jolts up out of instinct, breaking the straps holding her down and standing her upright. She then proceeds to almost immediately fall down, grasping at the air for anything to hold onto.

Landing on her knees, she looked down at her body, seeing a long and silky black skirt covering her legs as the cause of her tripping. However, that was proven wrong as she realized that she had forgotten how to walk after attempting to stand up again. She noticed that her legs were cone shaped, an unusual thing for her, though she didn't know if it was supposed to be that way or not. Slow step by slow step, she made her way towards the light, falling time and time again and yet still persisting. A quarter of the way through, she passed by a desk with a small hand mirror. She picked it up and examined her appearance carefully.

She had long light grey hair and a red clip with strings on the right side of her head. Her hair, tied in a low ponytail, came down to just past the middle of her back and curled at the end, as well as a chunk of hair in front doing the exact same thing in the opposite way. She wore a normal black t-shirt, and her skirt came down to her supposed ankles. A red glowing streak ran down both of her legs symmetricaly, for no apparent reason other than design. As she gently set down the mirror, using the desk to support her weight, she thought about why her looks felt alien, as if they didn't represent her.

Images flashed across her visor, voices paired with them. There was a plain drone beside her, picking out wires from a body while saying things she couldn't understand but could only think was another language.

"Estas piezas son bastante valiosas, ¿verdad, Mir?" The only thing she understood from the chipper male voice was the word "Mir", something she saw as part of her assigned name. Another image popped up, though this time the drone was supposedly gripping her, looking distressed.

"¿Acaso nunca te preguntas para qué servimos? ¡Lo único que haces es lo que te piden, y nunca tomas decisiones por ti mismo!" The image glitched away almost immediately, leaving Mir with one more message, another one spoken in a foreign language, "¿Nuestra amistad era siquiera real?" (Don't flame me for poor translation please, I used Google Translate to do this. On that note, don't use Google Translate to retranslate this please, I'd like to keep the words a mystery or leave it to speakers of the language to figure it out :3)

Confused and frightened, Mir stumbled towards the light even quicker, falling part of the way through and crawling on her hands and knees until she tripped (again) on her skirt, ripping it in the front. Struggling to stand up, something red waved across her vision, giving her yet another startle. This time she didn't fall over but stood up completely, spreading her arms out to try and stabilize herself. When she looked to the right, there it was; a pointed, glowing, red tail about to hit her straight in the face.

Mir put her arms up in self-defense, but after it didn't hit her, she realized that it was her tail, and she could control it. She put it behind her and scanned it, revealing all of its functions. She was surprised at how disturbingly descriptive the instructions on how to use it and what happens when you use it were, considering the code she first read out loud was clearly boring to the person writing it.

Mir noticed small pods on her back and scanned those as well, causing firm felt wings to pop out, nearly jabbing her in the face. "Huh..." She breathed as she read the information, staring at their moth-like beauty. They were white colored as if brand new, but had hints of dust on them as if they'd been in there for a while. As she flexed them, walking slowly with a hunched back, she stopped in front of the light, trying to look through while still in night vision mode.

Suddenly, a hologram of a message appeared in front of her, the sender unclear.

"Hello, Mir. I have a mission for you :]"
