Entrapta: “Hiii Catra! I have some first ones tech that I have and I wanted to show you before you head out.”
Catra: “Don’t care”
Catra is about to leave the base
Entrapta: “Wait Catra! What if I told you it could cause some crazy destructive effects.”
Catra:… “I’m listening”
Entrapta: “I’ve been trying to put some tweaks into this tech as the last time I used it, it caused my darling bots to turn against me and pretty insane! But it’s so cool and if you can find some use to it that would be pretty cool. But I have a theory that maybe you could try to use it if you happen to come across She-Ra and maybe something would happen. Who knows tho but here.”
Entrapta tosses the tech to Catra. Catra inspects the piece of technology.
Catra: “I’ll see what I can make of it.”
Catra walks out the base and finds Adora, glimmer, and bow. They seemed to be fighting some sort of bug like thing before Catra could fully process what was happening they defeated it.
Adora’s pov
Adora: “welp, at least we finally killed that thing..”
Adora looks down at the worm like machine
Glimmer: “yeah I guess. It’s pretty cold out though so we should just head back to the castle for now.”
Bow: “yeah, Glimmer is right let’s head back for now and come back tomorrow I’m not trying to fight anymore of those things and we probably need to rest and glimmer you might need to recharge.”
Glimmer rolls her eyes at the fact that it’s true she needs to recharge her powers. Adora giggles
Adora: “yeah you guys can leave I want to stay for bit though.”
Glimmer: “wait what? You don’t need to stay Adora it’s freezing and you’re probably tired right now.”
Bow: “why are you planning on staying?”
Adora: “Well.. something doesn’t seem right I want to investigate. And don’t worry about me I can take care of myself.”
Glimmer and Bow look at each other with confusion and a bit of worry
Bow: “well if your so persistent on staying take this.”
Bow gives Adora a radio gps
Bow: “if you get lost or need any help please don’t hesitate to call us”
Adora gives bow an affirmative nod and watches as Bow and Glimmer teleports away with a swoosh of magic. She turns towards the opposite direction of where she felt she spotted a base.
Catra’s pov
‘Well isn’t this great.. why did Adora choose to stay this could mess up the plan..’
Catra looks down at her hand with the disk
‘..or maybe I could use this.”
Catra grins at the thought of getting to mess with Adora.
Adora’s pov
Adora keeps walking in the cold snow for a bit and she feels she could sense someone watching her but who. She keeps her gaurd up in case it was a horde soldier.
Catra: “Hey Adora~”
Adora’s eyes open in shock she turns around swiftly and faces Catra with wide but focused eyes.
Adora: “Catra… what are you doing here!?”
Catra: “I could ask you to same thing princess.. “
Adora’s eyes turn more on guard as she’s face to face trying to ignore Catra’s taunts. She tries to say something in response but nothing comes out
Catra: “what? Got nothing to say or something.”
Catra: “jumps out of the tree she was standing in”
Adora: “Are you trying to pick a fight.”
Catra: “Oh noo is princess growing a back bone while sparkles and the other one isn’t heree. Well that’s not good now is it.”
Catra chuckles as she sees her taunts are visibly starting to annoy Adora
Adora: “you really like hearing the sound of your own voice now do you”
Catra is a bit taken back by what Adora said. She didn’t expect something like that to come out of her but she keeps going anyways.
Catra: “well.. I have something that could shut you up”
Catra holds up the first one’s disk
Adora: “That’s disk.. where did you get that!?”
Catra: “Woah there that’s not a way to ask. Yknow what your being kinda rude today which is kinda funny cause last time I checked you were the once who left me.”
Catra chuckled even though the thought that Adora left still makes her heart ache
Adora: “I didn’t leave you Catra I left the horde! And don’t try to change the conversation on me. That tech is very dangerous”
Adora remembers when entrapta made her bots go mad the last time she saw something like that. But Catra was silent for a moment then she gave Adora a mean glare but with her dumb whitty smile
Catra: “Good..”
Catra lunges as Adora. Adora moves out the way before Catra managed to make a hit. And decides to transform before Catra could make another attack.
Adora: “For the honor of grayskull!”
Catra watches Adora transforms for a minute watching. For a second she catches herself admiring and staring and she makes herself lock in as she is supposed to be hating her at the moment. Catra lunges again and the two start fighting
Adora: “Catra stop! You don’t always need to turn everything into a fight!”
Catra chuckled
Catra: “yeah right..”
Finally Catra starts getting hits on Adora and in a swift moment Catra uses the disk on Adora’s sword and for a moment Adora stops attacking. Catra stops to since it’s sudden at looks at Adora in confusion.
Adora: “AHHH..!”
Adora yelps out in pain and drops to her knees on the ground while holding her sword tightly. Red vines began growing from the sword onto Adora as she keeps screaming in pain. Catra watches in shock and backs away for a moment not knowing what to do and watches as Adora’s baby blue eyes shift to red as she stops screaming.
Catra: “Adora..?”
Adora stands up in a swift moment and full on attacks Catra violently. It catches Catra off guard in confusion as she looks up and sees Adora coming at her growling as she makes a moves Catra’s tries to dodge but Adora grabs her by her foot and slams her down to the ground violently. Catra yelps out in pain and still tries to move out the way even though her body was in so much pain
She-ra: hehehe… where do you think your going kitty.”
Adora drags Catra towards her through the snow and as Catra struggles in she-ra’s grasp she notices scorpia running to get her. A light of hope shines in her eyes at the moment and she feels a sharp pain in her leg. Catra looks down as she watches blood stream from a deep cut. made by the sword. Catra pupils show fear as she stares at the bloodstream coming out the wound. She-ra laughs as she watches it bleed licking the blood of sword. She-ra goes to make another cut as Catra yelps out
Catra: “Adora wait!”
Catra shuts her eyes tightly waiting for the pain but it never comes she opens them slowly to find Adora laying on the ground unconscious not in her She-ra form and looks up to see that Scorpia made it to her rescue
Scorpia: “Let’s get you bandaged..”
Scorpia picks up Catra and an unconscious Adora and walks them back to the base. Entrapta inspects the wound and stitches and bandages it as Scorpia ties up Adora while looking at Adora she’s gives her a mean but jealous look. ‘How could Catra like you..’
Entrapta: “You should be good for now but you should maybe get this looked at once we get back to the horde”
Catra scoffs and looks at Adora
Entrapta: Ah yes Adora! I need to go for now Catra and write down this data about how she reacted to the new tested disk. Scorpia can you come aswell and make sure you bring the sword!”
Scorpia: “And leave Catra with.. this”
Scorpia looks at Adora with a disgusted look
Catra: “ill be fine just go..”
Scorpia gives her a sad nod and follows entrapta with the sword in her hand.
Catra waits till they leave and she groans in pain ‘fuck..’
Catra never knew how strong She-ra really was even with all their battles she thought that maybe people were wrong about how strong she could be or that maybe it was Adora but I guess today she figured she was totally wrong. ‘Has Adora been holding back on me this whole time..’ she thinks as she remembers all her battles and thinks of it now Adora could’ve killed her anytime she wanted so why has she not. As Catra is lost in thought she gets spooked as she sees Adora starting to wake up.
Adora: “ughh…”
