Summary
After several years of teaching kindergarten at Maria Elementary, you're suddenly thrust into a second grade classroom. Armed with only your pedagogical research and (wavering) fortitude, you brace yourself for a year predicated on mastering more than just the basics. Reading comprehension, mathematical application, and enhanced critical thinking aren't the only obstacles on the table, though, especially when a new student demonstrates that she's functionally illiterate.
Levi Ackerman returned home for one reason and one reason alone: to help his septuagenarian mother parent his cousin, Isabel. At just seven years old, Isabel's seen more hardship than Levi wants to admit, and he's made it his mission to get her back on track both academically and emotionally. During his downtime, he'll finally commit to finishing his latest novel--that is, if he can stop thinking about Isabel's frustratingly enticing (and absolutely off-limits) teacher.
