“I'll do it,” Everyone immediately stopped and turned to look at Hudson who was smirking in Carter's direction. “I'm conceited anyway, why not add this to the list?”
When that quieted everyone, Hudson's gaze turned to Shane, its intensity never wavering, as if challenging him to refute him.
He shouldn't do it. He knows better. Surely, he knows better than to accept being near Hudson. Yet as he held the other's gaze, another answer slipped past his lips.
