Puzzles shivered as a cold breeze swept through his and his lover’s room, chilling the TV to his metal bones, he curled himself tighter around WPNZ, trembling from the cold. He was infinitely glad that his partner always ran hot, it was like having a walking heater with him. He, on the other hand, always seemed to be freezing. In the summer or spring times it wasn't that big of a deal, but in times like this, it was his main weakness.
Puzzles really wished he had turned on the heater before bed, but in retrospect, he wouldn't know he would need the extra warmth when it was 15 degrees out. He was practically glued to the gunman's warm side as he shivered, he was surprised he hadn't woken up WPNZ with how much he was shivering, but then again, the gunman was a heavy sleeper. He grumbled as realized he would probably freeze before WPNZ woke up and turned on the heater himself, so he would have to turn it on himself.
He groaned and released his death-grip on his partner and slowly sat up, shivering like a leaf in the wind as he pulled to blanket off the bed as he walked over to the heater a few feet away. As he clicked it on, he let out an audible sigh of relief as the warm air surrounded him. He turned to look at his fiancé, sprawled out across the bed with his mouth open as he snored. He glanced out the window, eyes instantly widening as he pressed his screen against the window, the cold glass pressing up against his forehead.
The world was coated in a thick layer of white, more flecks of white fell from the sky, only adding to the ever-increasing pile. He could felt his child-like joy rise inside him, making a wide grin spread over his display as he rushed over to the bed, shaking WPNZ's shoulder. "WPNZ! WPNZ dear wake up!" He shouted, making WPNZ grumble and roll onto his side, dislodging his partner’s hands from him.
"...five more minutes..."
"WPNZ come on, it's snowing out!" He shouted, shaking his shoulder one last time in an attempt to wake him up, he only rolled away again, burying his head in the pillow, giving Puzzles a full view of his very tangled hair.
"Thas' nice hon, now lemme sleep..." The gunman grumbled, bringing his arms up to hug the pillow tight against his head, nuzzling his face into it. Puzzles huffed at him, placing his hands on his hips indignantly.
"If you don't get out of bed I'll have to drag you out.' Puzzles grumbled, watching as WPNZ's shoulder's shook with barely contained amusement, a glowing yellow eye peeking out from the pillow to look at him. WPNZ knew Puzzles couldn't lift him, Puzzles knew he couldn't lift him, but the TV dead set on getting his fiancé out of bed, even if it was the last thing he did. He's done it before, and few months back.
"I'd like to see ya try." WPNZ challenged, smirking at his partner. He didn't expect Puzzles to actually try and pick him up, and he buried his face back into the pillow he was trying not to suffocate in. He let out a small growl as Puzzles latched his hands onto WPNZ's shoulders, dragging him slowly off the bed before he landed unceremoniously on the hardwood floor. "This is no way to treat you future husband." He grumbled flatly, as he fell limp in his partner's arms, making the taller grumble.
"I would walk you out of the room if you would stand up-!" Puzzles let out a startled yelp as he tripped over air and landed painfully on his back, letting go of WPNZ in the process. WPNZ cursed under his breath and rolled over to see Puzzles sitting up on the floor rubbing the side of his head.
”Shit, ya good?” WPNZ asked, concerned.
”Yeah, I think so.” Puzzles replied, rubbing his head. “Is my screen broken?”
”Nah, ya good.”
”Good, now come on!” Puzzles nodded and stood up, grabbing onto WPNZ’s hands and pulling on them. WPNZ grumbled as he was slowly dragged across the floor. They finally made it to the living room and Puzzles deposited him onto couch, and the assassin grumbled as Puzzles let go of him.
”Whatcha doin now?” WPNZ asked as he watched Puzzles rummage through the closet near the front door, eventually pulling out a big box full of winter clothes. Puzzles looked over at him for a brief moment before turning back to the box.
“I’m going outside to play in the snow!” He answered excitedly, pulling on a thick winter coat and a scarf. WPNZ chuckled at his goofy partner and sank into the couch, closing his eyes.
Meanwhile, Puzzles was already exiting through the door and squealing as he felt the cold air and white flakes brush up against him. WPNZ sighed and slowly stood up, stretching as he walked into the kitchen. He was trying his best not to fall asleep as he pulled out two mugs and some hot chocolate power, setting both on the counter.
Puzzles was having the time of his life outside, he hadn’t gotten much chance to play in snow when he was younger, as his father kept him locked indoors and made him watch it fall and melt through his bedroom window. He glanced into the living room window and noticed that WPNZ was no longer on the couch. He smiled and continued rolling up snow to make a snowman, though he didn’t have much to decorate it, he would use his scarf, but WPNZ would probably be mad given how protective of him he was.
WPNZ sleepily poured the boiling water into the mug, being careful not to spill any onto the counter or himself. He reached over and grabbed the milk carton, knowing that Puzzles would complain that it was too hot. Suddenly, someone grabbed him from behind, shivers wracking their body, he smiled and turned his head, seeing Puzzles nuzzling his TV head into WPNZ’s back. ”Welcome back, hon.”
”c-cold.”Puzzles whispered in returned, holding WPNZ a little tighter. WPNZ chuckled and placed a hand over Puzzles’.
”Well, let’s go sit on the couch, made some hot cocoa for ya too.”WPNZ said, picking up the mug and walking into the living room, it was a little difficult with a very clingy TV head holding onto him the whole time. The assassin sat Puzzles down on the couch, making the TV whine at the loss of heat. “How was the snow/“ WPNZ asked as he pulled off Puzzles’ scarf, setting it off to the side.
”Oh, it was very fun! I even made a little snowman!” Puzzles exclaimed happily, pointing out the window to where his snowman sat in the yard.
’Nice1”WPNZ smiled as he unzipped his coat and took it off, setting on top of the scarf. “Here.”WPNZ said as he handed the warm cup to Puzzles. The showman took it gratefully and started to sip at the warm liquid, a smile growing on his screen. “Now scooch over, I wanna warm ya up too.” WPNZ said jokingly as he sat down on the couch, sliding in beside Puzzles. He let out a content sigh as laid his head in Puzzles’ lap, staring up at him.
Puzzles chuckled and laid a hand on his chest, making the shorter hum and close his eyes. Puzzles smiled at his fiancé and sipped at his hot chocolate contently, the warmth from both WPNZ and the cocoa was warming him up pretty quickly, driving away the cold from outside. He sank into the couch a little more. He was planning on dragging WPNZ outside along him later, but for now, he just relaxed and watched the snow pile up outside the window.
