Summary
After Puzzles' betrayal, WPNZ spent months hunting him down.
So, when he found himself standing over a shattered Puzzles, red sight gleaming between his eyes, it should’ve been easy. He knew what he needed to do. Or maybe, he didn't know what he needed at all.
WPNZ didn't want to walk away with nothing but his anger and grief to hold. More guilt to carry.
So, he lays down his grudge, and picks up something infinitely more precious.
Puzzles looked dazed, and WPNZ knew he had him just how he wanted him. “Come back down to earth, baby. Don’t go disappearin’ in that head without me,” he said, lifting a hand to pat the side of Puzzles’ head. “Tell me what’s going on in there.”Puzzles didn’t speak. Not at first. He just moved his hands to cover WPNZ’s own and guided them upwards, shivering under the broad, heated hands that encircled his slim waist.

Summary
10 days after they escaped from the horrors of the L.T.H.L facility, and 8 days after the news of what happened broke to the world, Puzzles and WPNZ are making decent progress in their physical recovery. In doing so, they’re more mobile and can handle more activities. They’re happy about how much better they’ve been feeling, but still feel the weight of their memories and emotional obligations. When a paper is slipped under the door of their hotel room and a few more phone calls are made, reality rears it’s head again. At least one thing remains unchanged, that they’ll always have each other’s backs.
