Chapter Text
The day started like any other. Albeit it was an unusual yet beautiful day in the neighborhood where the houses looked the same. The sun shone through the small clouds, spilling through some grass and roofs of houses, the birds chirped, and the flowers were blooming. It was a fine day indeed, hopefully.
One house, in a sparkling, clean kitchen dominated by metallic cobalt blue walls and furniture, a blue cat named Oggy was sitting in a chair facing away from the kitchen table, which was covered in a beautiful, yellow, silky cloth with two orange stripes: one thin line and another thick line at the ends. He was getting some peace at last from multiple tumultuous situations.
He was drinking a soda, occupied with Regina, a spider that was the size of Oggy's nose, who was sitting on a table, writing something with her long and large purple quilt pen. She put her arm to let her head rest while her other hand still wrote some things. For a while, Regina closed her book and noticed a newspaper that was in front of her. She moved the book and read it for a bit until she noticed a sign on the paper. She tapped on Oggy's shoulder, making him confused, and he turned his head to look at her. He put the can of soda down and took the newspaper from her to take a look. His eyes glanced at one of the pages of the newspaper: Caviar Esturgeon
Oggy's expression showed surprise and happiness, making him daydream of having a date with his girlfriend, Olivia, like a normal date, since most of his dates with her ended with chaos because of the cockroaches' antics. But the problem was that the caviar was expensive, very expensive. The blue cat was shocked when he went through some hidden spots in his house, garden, and even under his toilet when he went to the bathroom. only to find money that he thinks is enough. Just a small amount of cash. Enough of that to buy it, or so he thought.
Before he left, he told Regina to look for the kitchen, guarding it in case the cockroaches were going to steal the food, and she nodded. Regina was a no-nonsense type and protective of things, after all.
When Oggy is still at the store, the kitchen is empty, except for the vent, where Joey and DeeDee are laughing over something, even after they ignored Marky, who wanted to know what they were laughing at. At the same time, Marky checks the kitchen through binocular lenses, chiefly focusing on Regina, who is guarding the kitchen while sitting on the kitchen table and reading a book. She was focusing on the lines from the paper with a blank expression on her face, like she usually has, with her 6 eyes (3 on the left side and 3 on the right side) glancing at some pages, sometimes blowing her aubergine hair through the sides, so she could see properly.
The green cockroach was different when it came to the rival interactions with that certain spider. Compared to his brothers being vexed and being ready for a fight when being near her, mostly Joey, because his plan often gets backfired as Regina has ways to snitch Oggy off her sleeves. Either that or she'll trap them with her spider web for a few hours until she's tired of tormenting them (not too much, just them having to listen to her terribly sing on purpose). He felt less hatred towards her. Yet he had to be like his brothers, fighting with her and planning to distract her to get their goal right away.
Then he noticed that she was guarding a magazine that showed it was caviar-related. Wait? A caviar. That made him think about how he would get that.
As he started to contemplate, he thought of an idea about how he would distract her so he could steal caviars and that he would give them to his brothers, so he could be called a king or something like being noticed by them and getting praises and attention, since he was ignored for the rest of the day.
A few hours later, Oggy came back with a box that included a caviar logo in it, carefully placing it on the kitchen table. He then petted Regina with his glove-covered index finger due to her being way smaller than him.
