Charles date wasn't bad. Not really. But in the other hand, the date wasn't special either. Normal dinner with a girl he met once on race weekend. She was average influencer on Instagram. She was really lovely but they had no topics to talk about beside their jobs.
However, Charles still asked her about number. Writing on social medias was not really his thing. So she gave him her number with a biggest smile on her lips.
Charles was kinda desperate. Don't get him wrong, but he wanted so bad to be in relationship. All of his friends had someone. Only he was left without his lover. Of course, single life with a dog wasn't that bad, but he wanted to share his reality with someone.
That's how he get on another date and another and another...But all of this meetings wasn't it. The girls were cool and pretty but not what Charles was looking for. Maybe something was wrong with him?
After his night routine he fell onto his bed with a big sigh. It was time to check the number she gave him. He wanted to act like a gentleman that's why he texted first.

Charles was looking at his phone screen with a shocked face. Is he in a movie or something? There's no way something like that happend to him.
Maybe that was the reason of his date big smile, the fact she was giving him a wrong number. Does that mean both of them felt this date wasn't it? Maybe this is better? But now he have some unknown number on his phone and exchange few messages with them.
Reasonable person would probably delete the number and forgot about this situation but something in Charles was telling him to send another message. It wasn't good idea, he was talking to a stranger but you only live once, right?

Charles put his phone down and took a deep breath. What is he even doing? Is he going crazy? He's a Formula 1 driver and not some average guy, he wasn't supposed doing this. What if the other guy will find out who he is?
He just needs to keep his identity in secret, there is no other way. This gonna be easy. He can't tell anything about his not normal job that he is obsessed with, easy. Maybe not really...But he needs to belive in himself.
Something interesting was in this guy. Even if he wasn't kind, open to him and called him "annoying". Also his new goal was to get "unknown number" name. He wants to know what name guy like this have.
Charles almost forgot about this terrible date and exchanged numbers incident but he heard a message notification sound. He checked it and rolled his eyes.

Charles put his phone on the other side of the bed and lay more comfortably. It's time to sleep.
Of course he didn't told his friends about "unknown number". They would tell him he's not responsible and writing with a stranger is not good idea. They would probably be right but Charles wasn't really thinking straight now.
He closed his eyes and fell asleep after few minutes.
