Chapter Text
‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all throughout the house
Only one creature was stirring, a young Eric with much doubt;
As he had no gift to give for the one he held dear,
And it was certain to end their love’s cheer;
The minutes ‘till holiday slipping away without care,
And still he sat with not a good thing to share,
Whilst no nice list would recognize his name,
A certain someone would eagerly look for a From Cartman to claim;
A white frost covered the small mountain town,
And a young Eric begged Santa to prevent his lover’s frown.
As their love was their hate, “enemy” coupled “friend,”
Only in secret did they call each other “love” as an amend;
Yet no pleading plea was pleasing for St. Nick,
Hope wasn’t lost, for Eric was known to think quick;
But like the sides of a coin, a young Kyle was much the same,
As he had no gift, too and he had none to blame;
Except perhaps the eight nights of candles and fire,
But knowing full well his lover would cry liar—
And it would be no lie, in truth, it only slipped his mind;
His selfish lover was certain to leave him without a valentine,
But it seemed nothing he could wrap conveyed his devotion,
As a young Kyle stewed, his attention was drawn to the commotion
Outside his fogged window, his stupid boyfriend was in the snow,
Stepping down the icy ladder to join him below;
A meeting in the middle had both young boys colliding in the cold,
Under the fall of snowflakes, the lovers were swift to hold
And right there did it all click, filled with bliss,
For their gift was one another and they sealed it with a kiss;
Nothing quite mattered more than to break their stive
Twice, to whisper, “Happy Christmas, my love.”
