Work Text:
Eros: "release him."
Athena: "what?"
Eros: I have seen love take on many forms.
I have seen love being shredded and torn.
The man, Odysseus, with the love or his wife, is the thing I admire to see in a mortal's life!
I understand his pain, I too have a wife who turns my heart a flame. They're meant for each other. Penelope denies the hand of another!
She's been waiting for years, he fights to reunite with her despite his fears.
I will not let their efforts be in vain.
Release him.
Athena: 😄.
