Summary
Holly throws the cover off of herself and runs to her door before stopping. She has to be quiet, she thinks, or else Santa will hear her and run away. Holly carefully opens the door and peeks into the hallway. It's empty, so she steps out, putting her finger between the door and the doorframe to the sound of the door closing. Holly quietly makes her way to the stairs and takes in the view. All the lights in the lights are off besides the ones in the living room. From the stairs, Holly can see the figure of a person. She can't see exactly who it is, but the figure looks pretty slim…. oh no! What if it's not Santa and it actually is an intruder? Holly is about to run back into her room when she catches a flash on bright red velvet. It is Santa! He must've lost some weight throughout the year though, because he is a lot smaller than she thought he'd be. He's probably as thin as Mike, which is saying a lot, since her brother was such a twig.
