Work Text:
Salt of Solidarity isn’t normally one for frivolous celebrations, but he’ll do it if it’s to satisfy Elder Faerie Cookie’s wishes.
They celebrate under the tree they planted, now adorned with pretty, twinkling lights – tradition, Elder Faerie Cookie tells him.
Thankfully, it’s just the two of them this evening, sharing this moment as the sun crosses the horizon line.
Gifts swap hands, and whispered words of devotion are exchanged beneath the unfurling branches.
In the end, Salt of Solidarity is glad he agreed to this (not that he’d ever have declined).
No, he’d do anything for Elder Faerie Cookie.
Anything.
