The night was cold with heavy rains. The sound was barely audible in the palace yet it was the loudest Fluixon had ever heard in his life.
It's rarely rains in Theria.
Which is made sense since the civilization was located on a dessert. Perhaps, this kingdom too was mourning the lost of their previous king.
Who didn't? Saparata was loved by everyone. But now he's gone. Killing himself by leaping off a tower, leaving everything behind. His kingdom, his throne, his people and..
His Fluixon..
Fluixon, who's now need to bear the throne alone.
Fluixon, who's now need to picked up the pieces and get them together again by himself.
Even though he knew it will never be the same.
Fluixon silently watched as the sky bursting its tears down— showering the city, from a large window by his bed chamber.
It's been days since the late king passed away and the rain never stopped ever since.
The rain was wild, like it's threatening to flood the kingdom in an eternal grief.
Which might happen and it will only caused more distress to Fluixon.
His face contorted at the thought, sighing as he did. There's a lot more things he need to take care of instead of just staring into the window like a widow.
Soft knocks fell upon his door, along with a soft voice of a woman. "My king.. There's someone who wished to see you in the throne room."
A sharp exhale escaped Fluixon's mouth. "Give me a minute, Jophiel." He said flatly.
Jophiel.
She's the only one who's still there to help him to sort things out. He's not completely alone and that's comforting enough.
After Jophiel's footsteps faded away, Fluixon sighed again— for Ish know how many times that day.
Speaking of Ish..

Fluixon almost couldn't believed what he was seeing. He thought he had gone mad.
When he was told there's someone who wanted to meet him, he didn't expect it to be Ish out of everyone.
Ish. Who people considered as a god.
"Ish? What's brings you here?"
Ish smiled. The type of smile that made you believed he's up to no good. His eyes glimmering with a hint of mischiefness.
"I have a proposal for you, Flux."
"A proposal?"
Ish nodded before adding, "I've heard about what happened to Saparata."
Fluixon face hardened. His heart twisted with grieve as he heard that name again. Flux's not really fond with a reminder of that fact.
He clicked his tounge, his voice almost sounded venomous as he spoke.
"So?"
The god just snickered and the sound of it irritated Fluixon even further.
Does he thinks its funny?
"Oh, Flux.. No need to be so harsh. What i've been meaning to say is.." He trails off as he leaned in slightly, voice dropping into a low tone as if he's telling a secret. "I can bring Saparata back to life."
Fluixon eyes widen in utter shock. He was so not expecting that or any of this. But, at the very bottom of his heart, it's already blooming with flowers.
"But.." He continued. "Under one condition."
Suspicion began to climbed its way inside of Fluixon's heart, withering the flowers earlier. His gaze narrowing.
"What is it?"
By the way Ish's face seemed to lit up and a growing smile on his face, Fluixon never felt more worried.
Fluixon backed a few steps away from the god and tried to look as composed as he can. But the cracks of it still visible, showing how much uncomfort he's in.
"Just give me something's the most important in your life."
Fluixon facade faltered. His hands trembling and the air started to feels suffocating to him.
Is this a joke? He doesn't have anything important in his life— well.. not anymore..
"So? Are you willing to trade it for Saparata back?"
That's funny. Saps was the most important thing- person in his life. Not that he will tell Ish that.
"I don't have anything important to me." He said instead.
Ish's expression changed into somewhat amused. He chuckled again. His gaze looks like he already know what Fluixon was hiding.
Fluixon shifted uncomfortably under his gaze. His purple robe swayed gracefully behind him by every movements.
He cleared his throat in hope it will ease the uneasiness in his gut.
"Fluixon.. Fluixon.. Everyone have something that they held dear. Trust me. I know.. Just, tell me. Do you accept this offer? I'll find my own way about your part of the deal."
Fluixon swallowed hard. He hesitate. He knew he's playing with fire if he accept this. But, there still some selfish part of him that doesn't let him— doesn't want him to think about the consequences.
He clenched his fist so hard, his knuckles turned white. There's something about this that filled his stomach with dread.
Ish leaned back, his face calm like he already knew the answer but his eyes burned with amusement, pleased like all of these were just some sick entertainment for him.

The rain had stopped that morning.
Citizens were all stood by the street with the look of horror, shocked and disbelief at the sight of the familiar white haired guy.
The news later came to Fluixon's ear and he quickly stumbled his way there. Excitement, yearning and happiness all mixed into one.
He panted slightly as he finally arrived after a run to the said street. And, thats when he saw him.
Saparata.
The sight of him made Fluixon's eyes watered, his heart ached. Finally he got to see that face again.
Fluixon immediately ran towards him and practically jumped to hug him, bringing him closer in his arms.
He's here. He actually here. Alive and breathing.
Fluixon could felt the the familiar warmth radiating off him. The warmth he longed for in the past few days.
"Saparata.. Saps.. I-.. You're here.. You- Oh gosh.." He babbled, too happy that he doesn't even know what to say.
But..
Saparata pushed him off— not harsh. Just enough force to made some space between them.
And Fluixon looked at him, confused. His heart clenched, hurt.
Why?
Saparata gaze landed on his and it never felt so forgein before.
"I'm sorry, but who are you?"
