Chapter Text
Two Time walks up behind Shedletsky and Dusekkar. “Exuse me,”
Shedletsky whips around to face them and screams, then ducks behind Dusekkar. Dusekkar himself reacts much less, just looking a little surprised before settling into the cultist’s presence. “Hello, Two Time. What did you need?”
Two time glances around the objects they were moving. A tree, one that probably had just been cut down, orbs they were hanging off of it, a string of shiny material Shed had been wrapping around the thing, and a star shaped piece laying on the floor. There were other unfamiliar objects around the room, but they were nothing much to focus on. “What are you doing?”
“Oh!” Shedletsky pops out from behind Dusk, acting as if he had never been afraid in the first place. “We’re just setting up a Christmas tree!”
Two Time stares blankly at the two men. Dusekkar lets the silence hang for a moment, likely waiting for them to have a response, before he begins to explain in an irritated tone just subtle enough that Two Time doesn't pick it up. “It's just a holiday, most Robloxians celebrate by giving gifts to one another, and placing them under a tree like ours until the day comes to unwrap them.”
“Ohhh….” Two Time drawls, eyes looking the tree up and down again. “Can I help? This seems fun.”
“...No.” Dusekkar does hesitate before he tells them no, but ultimately his hesitance about Two Time’s presence wins out. “...But! You could work on gathering presents for our fellow survivors if you would like to celebrate with us?”
“I could!” They spin around on their heels and venture out and into the residential cabin. They’ve already decided it's about time to do some crocheting!

Jane sits down next to Two Time on the upper level of the main cabin again. They're already back to work with their threads, making goodness knows what for gods know who. They've been doing this a lot, and she knows why, but seeing them so determined with something in their hand other than a dagger is… a little bit odd.
“Who’s that for?” She leans forward, arms on her knees, to meet their eye. She's one of the few people who can do that.
“Sir Builderman.” They respond simply, eyes never leaving their work.
“Ohh! That's fun!” She smiles. Being able to just spend some time with them like this is nice.
“I hope so. I hope everyone likes their gifts.”
“I’m sure they will! You have quite the talent, Two Time. And hand made gifts are always wonderful to give.” Jane discourages the fears with what she can think of to say. “Who else do you have to do now?”
“..You and Guest…” They mumble.
“Ah, you're gonna have to hide in your room for those huh?” She tries to laugh.
Two Time does, in fact, smile at that. “I think so. You two like me too much to be out here.” For some reason, they make that sound like a bad thing. Jane doesn't comment.
—
On Christmas morning, Builderman went around the residential cabin to gather everyone and send them to the living room of the main cabin. He walks in with Guest 1337, and then throws his hands up in the air. “Merry Christmas everyone! We’ve got gifts thanks to Two Time! Who wants to go first?”
Taph raises their hand excitedly.
“Then go ahead! Your gift will have your name on it, and that goes for everyone.” Builderman encourages while motioning towards the gifts under the tree.
Taph hops up from his seat and skitters over to the tree, looking through all the gifts until he locates his. He then picks it up and quickly returns to his seat next to Dusekkar, and very excitedly unwraps his gift. He ecstatically shows it to Dusk, and then holds it up for the rest of the survivors to see. It's a short cloak! Designed to go over his existing one and act as an accessory!
The rest of the survivors go in turn, each happily unwrapping and showing off what they got. Two Time sits with their tail wagging behind them excitedly while they watch even Dusekkar thank him for his gift, a throw blanket with blue yarns weaved together into a gradient. Guest got fingerless gloves, and Jane got a beanie to alternate with her usual hat. The rest got more general gifts, as Two Time didn't know them as well, but they all were happy.
At last, after the last gift had been opened and appreciated, Jane stands up once more.
“What are you doing?” Two Time asks with a tilt of their head.
“Well, you made something for everyone, so it was only fair I made something for you!” She smiles at them while their mouth drops open. They hadn't even thought of getting anything in return!
She picks up a gift from its spot out of sight behind the tree, and drops it on Two Time’s lap. “Here you go!” She ruffles their hair and returns to her seat.
Two Time excitedly rips open the wrapping paper, revealing a sweater underneath it that Jane had made herself! They hug it to their chest, tears building in their eyes, and look at Jane, an unspoken “thank you” written into their expression.
“Merry Christmas, Two Time.” Jane says with a small laugh.
“Merry Christmas.” They return the sentiment with a shaky voice.
