Summary
Wednesday begins experiencing recurring visions of her aunt Ophelia, imprisoned in her grandmother’s house. These visions deepen into a psychic connection: she no longer just sees Ophelia’s memories, but feels her fear, anxiety, and desperation as if they were her own. Only Enid and Tyler know the truth, strengthening the trust between the three of them and allowing moments of quiet intimacy and loyalty—especially between Wednesday and Enid.
As the story unfolds, Wednesday’s psychic abilities and Tyler’s nature as a Hyde are explored in greater depth, revealing unexpected connections between their powers. Tyler struggles to adjust to life at Nevermore, to his place among the outcasts, and to maintaining control over Hyde, all while being deeply devoted to Wednesday.
