This story is inspired by Kindle My Heart by Dracoduceus.
It is a powerful and deeply moving work, but I personally felt that Flins forgave Varka far too easily—so easily that it felt unfair to Flins. That is why I wrote this story. It can be read as an extension, a fanfic of a fanfic, or an alternative ending.
My sincere thanks to Dracoduceus for creating such an inspiring piece. To be honest, your version of Varka made me so angry I could barely breathe for days, and I had to write something immediately to get it out of my system. 😅 I postponed my other writing projects and prioritized this fanfic first.
