   X tilted his head, a small, uncertain smile tugging at his lips. “Is that a good thing?”

   “I think so,” Nice murmured, his voice barely more than a breath. Then, finally, he looked at X with eyes full of awe and devotion. “I’m still thankful for that one time you saved me.”
