As the siblings are all gathered in the floor, Ivy looks at each and every one of them. Each of them are in a conversation with another. Diego and Luther, laughing about their rivalry, and completely forgetting some memories they shouldn't have forgotten. Klaus and Allison are chatting about the world's drama out there, and how much of it they needed to gossip. And Five, Viktor, and Ben are talking about something related to learning. Ivy doesnt exactly know what theyre talking about, but something in her tells her to giggle. So she does. No one notices at first, until Diego spots her laughing.
"Ivy, you okay?" Diego almost shouts, bringing the attention to her.
Ivy doesnt respond for a second, staring off into space. She can tell that they are getting a little more concerned for her. But then she does it again; and she giggles.
"We are so fucked up." Is the only she said before she starts giggling more erotic now.
The siblings dont really understand why shes giggling, still looking at her in concern before her giggles slowly die, her sweet sounding laughs turning slowly into fresh tears. Now all of them were really looking at her with concern. Luther being the closest to her, do what they always do, he lifted her up and pushed her forward so that he can lean on the couch, and she just fell back into him. None of the siblings said anything to her yet, assuming she was going to talk when ready.
"I was trying to laugh to hide the bubble in my throat, but I couldn't hold any longer," Ivy started, making all of her siblings look at her, "We went through some of the worst things he couldve ever done to us, and here we are talking about it like over tea on a Wednesday afternoon."
Slowly, the siblings started to giggle. It was soft at first. But then, Klaus and Ben's giggles got louder as they looked at each other. And as theirs got louder, so was everyone else. They stayed like that for a good 5 minutes, before slowly calming down.
"we are really fucked up, arent we?" Luther laughs it off, and his siblings nod softly, getting more comfortable.
Ivy turns by Luther, getting up to grab the TV remote. She sits back down, turning the TV on. The rest of the siblings sit there, confused. They dont ask questions, but they just silently sit there. She's going through the channels, before turning on some random TV show.
"I'm more confused than the time I woke up with pudding in my ass." Klaus said. All of their faces went from amused to disgusted in a matter of seconds.
"Weird, very weird way to say your confused, but okay. I put on a show to distract us, help us truly feel better about the whole situation.
The siblings don't say too much again, but just sit in front of the TV, getting comfortable. Ivy and Luther are sitting how they normally do. Klaus is sitting next to Luther, head on his shoulder, letting Ben lay on his legs. Allison and Viktor are almost doing the exact same thing, but on the other side of the living room. Five and Diego are in the middle of the both of them, sitting with the snacks all around them. Diego whispers something to Five, and five busts out laughing.
"What did you tell him, Di?" Ben asks, turning the attention to the both of them.
Five is still laughing, but a little softer. "I told him that this TV show reminds me of when Luther broke both of his arms and he kept running into everything, and how he had someone to tie his shoes every morning because he 'forgot how to.'" Diego tells them, and all of them bust out laughing as well.
"Hey! I did forget, and I thought I told you not to tell anyone!" Luther protested, but it fell on deaf ears.
The Hargreeves may not be made new because of what they talked about, but now they have a forever bond with one another. They will forever remember what this one conversation did to them as a team, but more importantly as a family. Knowing that youll always have someone in your corner is endearing, and that's what the Hargreeve siblings have. Someone, or all of them in their corner.
