“He’s beautiful, Eddie.” You nuzzled your head against Eddie’s cheek. He was more than that, though.
In your sleepy state, you were slightly astounded at how ethereal Volt looked. You knew he was beautiful; there was no doubt in anyone's mind about that, but underneath the prismatic luminosity, he looked radiant. Over the years, you had seen hundreds of light displays, but this one, the one with Volt sitting pretty beneath your tree after being lovingly wrapped by Eddie, was by far your favorite. The colorful glow cast over Volt’s hair and illuminated it as if it were illuminating freshly fallen snow.

Or, Eddie wraps a special surprise for you -Volt bondaged in a string of Christmas lights- and leaves it for you to find underneath the tree. -
