Summary
After the Idol Awards, they expected that they would talk it out. They had broken, but they had ultimately come together stronger than before. Surely they could overcome anything, and on the heels of their victory, they promised no more hiding and no more lies.
It's the dawn of a new day, and they can finally, fully understand one another.
Except they haven't talked about it. Day by day, little by little, the silence between them grows. It bears down on them with the weight of everything left unsaid. They are stuck, and it seems impossible to move forward.
These holding patterns are not sustainable. Something, or someone, will have to give.
