Summary
The life drained out of his vision as the searing pain of the knife slicing through his chest clouded his thoughts. Blood began dripping from his mouth as he eventually started to choke on it. Nifty’s laughter echoed through his mind. Silence met him as Adam’s body began to weaken, he tried to fight it. He can’t die, not now, not here. Charlie’s shocked, horrified face as his body slumped to the ground was the last thing that Adam saw as he died. His eyes remained open as he took his last breath.
Game over, or so Adam thought.
Adam’s eyes opened slowly, but he was not where he died. He was still in hell. Adam looked at his hands, no blood, but something looked… off. Claws replaced his usual fingers. As he looked over his body, a horrifying realisation set in. He was in hell, yes, but he had returned a sinner.
