“Oh. Why?”
Megumi grins, tilts his head and huffs a laugh.
“Just curious, you're not what I expected.”
Gojo lowers his head, his lips parting and closing rapidly as his hands squeeze the hem of his jacket. He looks downright afraid.
“Are you here to kidnap me or…”
It's left unspoken but Megumi knows what he means. He wants to know if he is here to kill him, to snuff out the first Gojo heir with any potential in years before he has a chance to come to full power, if at all.
“No, why the hell did you follow me if you thought I was going to do that?”
Gojo’s lips tremble this time, like he's going to cry.
“Um, because I-” he takes in a shuddering breath, shifts back and forth on his feet.
“It would be ok, if you did.”
