Summary
Each year, Louis and Armand flee the rush of New York tourists on New Year's Eve. In the attic of their second home, Louis reads over Claudia's diaries. At the same time each year, Lestat wanders from his hovel in New Orleans, seeking a ghost that only appears at a certain time and place.
In the final hours of 1918, a memory is lived for the first time. Each year, it waits to be lived again.
