Sparkyville International Airport
A plane touched down on the tarmac and soon headed for the docking area to unload the passengers. Among them was Zac from Australia. He walked through the airport. He wasn’t dressed in his usual clothes as he was dressed warm because Sparkyville was in late fall and was cold out. As he got closer to the exit he saw Claudia, Skylar, Krissy, and Red there to greet him.
“Z-Zac!” said a happy Claudia.
“G’ day, everyone!” greeted Zac. After exchanging hugs and a little talk about the flight, everyone left for Krissy and Red’s place. Claudia had since moved in with her older sister and her girlfriend due to Krissy being her guardian. Zac was taken in by the small city look of Sparkyville. They showed him the sights on the way to their place. They had driven by the barber shop Charlie Brown’s father Silas ran. They saw Charlie Brown outside sweeping.
“Hey Charles!” Claudia called out.
“Oh, hey, Claud!” said Charlie Brown back.
“L-Look who’s here!” Zac poked his head out.
“Ey, Charlie mate!” Zac greeted.
“Zac!” Charlie Brown said, happy to see his friend from Australia. “Good to see you again, man!”
“How are ya, mate?” The two teens shook hands.
“I’m good. You should know, you remember a few months ago when Linus’s sister and her friends came over because they were rescuing their friend from the Scorpion?”
“Yeah, how is Gertie?”
“You can ask her yourself, she lives over my dad’s barber shop with Hendrix.” At that moment, both Hendrix and Gertie walked up.
“Is dat Zac from down undah?” said a shocked Gertie.
“It is, G-Gertie,” said Claudia. “He’s visiting us from Australia!”
“He’ll be here for a week,” added Krissy.
“How have you been since yer encounter with that Scorpion jerk?” asked Zac.
“Bettah,” Gertie replied. “Still gettin’ therapy, but it’s been easier.”
“Plus, she’s now living with me,” Hendrix chimed in. “It turned out her uncle abused her when she temporarily stayed with him after what happened here in Sparkyville with the Lizard Ladies. So, now I’m her legal guardian.”
“That’s good, Hendrix,” said Zac.
“Well, we better get back to our place,” said Krissy. “They’ll be plenty of time to catch up.”
“Okay, we’ll see you later,” said Charlie Brown. “And welcome to America, Zac!”
“Thanks, Charlie mate,” said Zac, smiling. “See ya later!”
“See yous, Zac,” said Gertie. And the Grandin’s, Red, and Zac left, and Gertie and Hendrix went upstairs to their apartment. Charlie Brown continued sweeping and later met up with Frieda for a study date at her place.
