Heya there partner, too long time no see hasn't it!
“Good to see ya, partner.”
“You too. Been a while.”
“Yeah, it really has.”
Didn’t sound too wistful now did it? Din none too hopeful of what their status was going to be from now on end having been gone a while.
“How’s your arm?”
Cobb made a rotating motion with his new cybernetic appendix to prove a point.
“Getting some used to for sure, but almost as good as the old one. Well, almost.”
Din made a wicked grin just then. But it too, was fading fast. There was nothing there Din could grab a hold of, Cobb being seemingly distant.
Again, Din had stayed away for too long.
He could not really blame Cobb for moving on or not wanting Din in the way he had before.
As true, it had been a while with the two not seeing each other. But there were pressing matters to be taken care of and Din had to do them. So, leaving Cobb behind had not been an easy choice to make. But Boba had promised to take good care of Cobb during his recovery and with a heavy heart, Din’s choice had been made.
“Look, I know we didn’t talk… you know, before. Not much anyway. About us two…” Din started, being at a loss of words. Not really sure what the two were or had been if anything. Their hookups random at best.
But before Din could finish his pending thought, Cobb had already taken the few steps between them remaining. Cobb’s lips on Din’s so fast neither of them having any more time to think about what this all meant for the two of them.
The kiss, was long and demanding. It had been way too long for sure!
After they broke off, Din’s grin was back again.
“So, guess, we should test your new hand out then?”
“Sounds like a good plan there, eh, partner!”
They chuckled in unison, but taking things to the bedroom. One of the many to choose from in Boba’s ole mighty palace.
