Summary
Spock stepped as close as he dared and wrapped both arms lightly around Leonard, inviting him in without pressuring.
The man froze for only a second before he was melting into Spock’s embrace, body fitting with his as if it had been designed to, his head tucking into Spock’s chest to further hide his weeping. Spock gently stroked Leonard’s back and felt his own heart break inside him.
Spock had to help him somehow, in any way he could. His love for Leonard would allow him to do absolutely nothing less.
Or: Spock accidentally discovers McCoy’s journal and realizes his secret crush has been struggling far more than he’d let on. He immediately sets about rectifying this.
