   It was only after a growl echoed through the room, pulling Griefer’s gaze to the figure that was hidden in one of the more shadowed areas of the room, glowing red eyes piercing through the darkness.
   “Kid…” Shedletsky started, startling Griefer, his voice pained, “I know you’re angry with me, but it’s your friend who’s here to see you.”
   The growl stuttered, quieting as the eyes narrowed slightly.
