   There is a sudden loud bang, and they all jump, just as Benedict crashes through into the room, his eyes wild and panicked. “Oh thank god,” he says, crossing the room and immediately crushing Felicity and Hyacinth towards him, accidentally tugging Lucy and almost making her trip, before he helps steady her. “Where’s Ant? And Mum?”

   Hyacinth cannot answer him, only look around at the dust piles in the room that was once their family. “Oh no,” Benedict says in response to her silence. “What the fuck is happening?”
