Chapter Text

“Nyaaa~!” Swinging both arms in the air stretched Hisomu’s subject of attention. “It’s so hot!” She cried as big fat tears built up in her sheen and always excited eyes.

“Of course it is.” The boy half grinned seeing her. “It is summer Nico.”

The girl sighed. Her face had turned rosy under the unendurable heat and due to the two people holding hands in front of her.

“Nmm.” She pouted fiddling with her palms.

Tenga and Chidori were on their third date and Nico still hadn’t gotten over the pink haired macho doofus.

“Maybe I should have stayed home.” Nico purred.

“Maybe we should have stayed at home.” Hisomu whispered in her ears, bending to her height. “Let’s flee.”

“But—”

The lanky boy pulled her and took flight, in the second later they disappeared. Looking back, Tenga found himself utterly horrified. “Niiyama! Hisomu!” He shouted at their lack of presence and Chidori shared his concern.

“Eh-e-EH?” She shrieked. “Where did the two of them disappear off to?”

Tenga scratched the back of his head feeling the slightest of guilt. Maybe it wasn’t the best idea to ask Hisomu and Nico for a double date with them. Nico was eccentric in her rich yet kinds ways, and Hisomu, as he liked to call it, was a masochist. More like a suicidal maniac who enjoyed physical pain. Eccentric nonetheless.

A perfect pair to be coupled. A perfectly disastrous pair.

“Oh man.” Tenga sighed. “Not good. Not good at all. What if that freak jumps off a bridge somehow convincing Niiyama along with him?”

“Let’s not think about the worst, alright?” Chidori reasoned, but herself feeling worried.

Without intention, the disastrous pair had already caused disaster. Poor Tenga’s date was now as good as dead while they quarreled amongst themselves about outcomes that were unlikely to happen.

In reality, Hisomu had ran off to Katsuhira’s house—the securest place on earth in his opinion.

“W-wa-wait Hisomu!” Nico panted, her wrists still in his grasp. “Slow down!”

“Can’t do.” Weightless Hisomu ran against her struggles.

In front of the apartment complex, he stopped as Nico heaved coming back from the dead.

“Hisomu!” She bellowed. “Why are we here?”

“We’ll spend the day together here. You can physically injure me.” He fluttered upon saying the latter.

“No! I will not injure you!” She really didn’t understand what he meant.

“But I brought you here so you could.” He faked a hurt expression and picked her up, immediately earning himself a scream.

“Hisomu, put me down!” She flung her arms and legs often hitting the boy. He enjoyed it.

Inside the elevator, Nico hurled punches at him; Hisomu only feeling thrilled.

“Hisomu, I can walk you know?”

“You’re so tiny, I might lose sight of you, you know?” He mocked. She wasn’t even close to tiny.

“Naaawrr!” She gasped, exasperated. “What do we do now?” And, Nico had given up. The elevator door opened and they stepped out and inside Katsuhira’s unlocked house.

“We’re gonna have fun. And you’re gonna forget about Tenga.” Hisomu dropped her on the couch sitting himself beside.

“How?” She pouted.

“Like this—” He vigorously pinched her cheeks, apart from her mouth. Hisomu grinned at the girl, now looking like a potato with her orange hair and crazy teal streaks. “You’re really cute, you know that?”

“Nyou uhting me~” Nico struggled, digesting later what Hisomu said. “Huh? What?” Despite the pain in her cheek, her voice hitched, making her cry sound rather funny.

Hisomu drew closer to her having the tip of his nose touch hers.

“I think I like you and I think we should date.”

Beneath Hisomu’s fingers, Nico’s skin heated up to a thousand degrees vaporising it off of her. The boy being so close could feel it radiate into him. Complementing with her orange hair, Nico’s face burned a shade of dark crimson and she kicked the boy’s stomach hurling him away, in embarrassment.

“You nitwit!” She screamed, still blushing. That kick hurt. Not a lot, but enough to have Hisomu lose himself in a world of pleasures.

“Aaahh~!” He sang blissfully.

Nico had just gathered few words to say, that the door behind them swung open revealing another pair of disaster—this time a pair of emotional disaster. Sonozaki and the oblivious boy intruded Katsuhira’s own living room dropping themselves onto the couch beside.

“Heyyo.” Katsuhira greeted ignoring the fact Hisomu and Nice were intruders at his house.

“Yo!” Hisomu replied swinging his head in the air. “I was just telling Nico we should date.” He blurted like a regular pleasantry, causing the incurable shade on Nico’s face to deepen.

“Yeah.” The other boy agreed. “Nico is weird and cute, and you’re weird and hot. You guys should date.”

Sonozaki crawled near to him and whispered, “Are you sure you want to say that out loud?”

“Say what out loud?”

She coughed. “That Hisomu is hot.”

“Well, he is. What’s the problem?” Aloof boy remains aloof. Despite having a smart and intelligent girlfriend, he shall remain aloof.

She coughed again and swallowed her blunder of trying to poke sense into Katsuhira. “I agree.” Sonozaki quietly said. “You guys should—”

“Hisomu!” Nico stood up and cut her off. She nodded robustly, wearing an even darker shade of red. “We should date!” She said.

“Excellent!” He cheered. “Then you can physically injure me now!” Saying, he hopped on the girl.

“No!” Nico screamed, but who would listen to her when the other two before them cheered as well? “No physical injuries!” Her protests sank, ignored.

That place had ill fate hovering over it. Two disastrous couples under the same roof and who know what would happen—both physically and emotionally?
