Summary
A brand, as most philosophers tell it, is a link to the past. Brands hold a meaning to the couple from time long before them, with the potential to span as far back as the dawn of man himself. It’s theorized that if a couple can ascertain the significance of their marks that they gain their locked memories from a previous incarnation. Though many have tried to remember, only roughly one couple in every one-hundred-thousand will unlock their hidden memories.
Sawamura Eijun, research historian and completely hopeless romantic, has been dreaming about meeting his 'soulmate' for years. Kuramochi Youichi, however, isn't very happy with the idea of predestined lovers and is even less interested in the past but with the promise of lost skillsets and restored knowledge these two unlikely mates forge new beginnings as they search for old endings.
