“Did you see the little Phantomhive boy?” Grelle asks.
“Yes,” Sebastian says idly, "He’s been re-assigned to me after the recent changes.”
“I don’t envy you that,” Grelle says, putting her hands on her hips. “I hear his mother can be a real handful.”
Sebastian raises his eyebrows. “Is that so?” He had his suspicions, but she seemed more negligent than unkind.
“He has a brother, you know. Healthy and all that.”
Sebastian hums.
“Obnoxious lady, really,” Grelle goes on beside him. Once she gets on the topic of gossip, Sebastian knows, there’s no stopping her. But Sebastian is intrigued, so he only nods a vague agreement, letting her go on. “I wouldn’t mind giving her a piece of my mind. Or a piece of fashion advice.” She grins wickedly. “Or a bash over the head. Might knock some sense into her.”
“Is she all that bad?” Sebastian wonders aloud. “She seemed… unconcerned.”
“The brother is her main concern. He’s a prodigy at something or other.”
