    My take on Out of Mind (s02e22), imagining what might have happened if Jack had freed Daniel first instead of Sam.

    Fresh from cryosleep and still drugged, Daniel follows Jack through a Goa’uld ship they were never meant to be on. Forced to hide together in the dark, pressed close behind a pillar, long-buried feelings surface and change the shape of their relationship in ways neither of them is prepared for.

    Back on base, neither of them can forget what happened, and pretending it didn’t mean anything turns out to be impossible.
