Pulling away and setting him free, he lets himself bask in the sight of Ao’nung both angry and embarrassed, but also, blissfully quiet for a moment, even if his glare could burn a hole in Neteyam's face. It’s him now, who fists his hands in Neteyam’s shirt, yanks him so close the tips of their noses almost brush together.
‘’You think you’re so great, huh?’’ he spits out, ‘’You’re all bark, no bite. You ain’t gonna do shit to me.’’
‘’You wanna find out so badly?’’ Neteyam snickers, eyebrow leaping up.Ao’nung scoffs and pushes him away. ‘’You’re too much of a wuss for that.’’
This time, Neteyam knows how to handle it, how to handle him – or at least, he has a strangely enticing idea on how it could be done.
