   Summary

   "Knock, knock," a gentle voice comes through the doorway and he glances up, away from Will, as though he's been caught doing something bad like robbing a bank or putting his hand on the stove again until the skin burns. Joyce Byers stands there, desolute and tired-looking, wearier than she used to be and she's always been tense. He wonders, vaguely, if she is or if it's just her eyes now, the bags she wears a new tautness to her: he's thought about asking her how she sleeps and, because he is a coward, he doesn't.

   AKA: Mike has a lot of Feelings and I'm tired of Stranger Things pretending he doesn't. Why does he fucking suck now, Duffer Brothers?
