Summary
Calculation is Seungmin's second nature. You'd learn to be good at it when you have very little control over everything else in your life-especially when it comes to being an omega with little money in a system that caters to the rich and the alphas. Seungmin has everything under control, though: finances, jobs, and compartmentalizing money and time. It seems so, until the equation becomes unbalanced. It isn’t one thing that breaks his system; it’s all of them at once. A body that won’t stay manageable. Medication that costs more than it should. People who mean well but don’t see the full ledger. Changbin is only one variable among many: warm, careless, never meant to be permanent, but he makes the miscalculation impossible to ignore. Calculation has always kept Seungmin alive. It just never taught him what to do when survival starts costing more than he has.
