Chapter Text

"We're almost home, this is gonna be the one. You'll finally get to see it, mom"

Candace chuckling creepily as she drives her mom back from the grocery store, her bike was broken from the last bust attempt. So she had to run all the way to the store, then offered to drive her home...very quickly.

"I didn't let my daughter take her driving test, only to be rushed home in a car while i was buying frozens", Linda said to herself.

Once they reach the backyard, Candace opens the door.

"Ta-da"

Linda look, her deadpan expression didn't change, "Nothing, again"

Candace takes a look, the backyard is empty other than the five kids and the big tree "Oh come on, it was huge one this time"

"Well, what was it?", Linda asked.

"Another roller coaster, but it this time it was made of candy", Candace awnsered.

"You're kidding right?"

"I never kid when busting!"

"Candace, you really need to find something better to do than this. Maybe a summer job or something, do anything that's not here at least", Linda gives her the keys, then grabs her shoppings and head inside.

Candace sigh, "She's right, i need something else to do. I can't keep doing this for the rest of my life, maybe a trip to the Superduper Mega Superstore will calm myself", she gets back in then drives off.

"Dad, it's your turn to look after me since mom is out of town"

Vanessa enters her father's apartment, just she heard a familiar cry from inside.

"Curse you Perry the Platypuss"

Doof is shouting on his balcony with his machine in pieces.

"Let me guess, Perry wrecked one of your petty schemes again?", Vanessa asked.

"Yes, i was going to take all the candy from every kid in the tri state area", Doof replied.

"Honestly, dad. Why did you go back to all this evil stuff, i thought things were looking up for you with the Murphys?", Vanessa points out.

"Meh, Sara finally snapped at me so i had to move out. As for the evil thing... i had nothing else to do this summer, so yeah there's that", Doof says, "So what's up, honey"

"You know, dad. I think you need to get out more, get some fresh air", Vanessa said.

"You're right, maybe a trip to the Superduper Mega Superstore will help inspire me", Doof begins to walk out.

"While you're going out, mind pick up a new leather jacket for me?", Vanessa called out.

"Not until you're 18, sweetie", Doof then closed the door.
