Japan, Heian era
Year 1078It was during the Heian period that Japan began to soak up more and more blood, under lies and rubble. But before this renewed chaos, Tomoe Fujiwara is born with an Heavenly Restriction, whose nature was still unknown to Jujutsu sorcery. She is but an anomalous creature; raised in shame, shaped by violence, a life erased and written and rewritten to make her a woman acceptable to society.
Tomoe is not only a shame, but an omen: one misfortune after another is raging over the Fujiwara and Japan. From the awakening of ancient spirits to the theft of the Three Sacred Treasures: that fragile balance finally collapses, reigniting imperial crises, feuds, and wars, where the enemy is both human and monster.
It is in chaos that Ryomen Sukuna ascends and it is in chaos that Tomoe Fujiwara is reborn. It is a story of intent, of struggles, of compromises with one's existence, destined to intertwine.
