Summary
After Vox’s failed attempt to wage war, Charlie prepares for a conversation with the instigator himself. Heaven trusts her to deliver the news and collect him for a trial set to determine his fate. She walks into the Vee Tower, determined to help him, even if it could possibly unearth a past between them not known to most.
Vox, however, wasn't keen on making the conversation easy. He doesn't explain why, despite Charlie's obvious frustration. All he was sure of was that what she doesn't know can't hurt her until the deed is done.
