Wu suo wei's broom was broken.
He couldn't break the flying stick. The mop at the behind didn't flow with the breeze and generated momentum. The faint red glow emitting from his palms vanished seconds before his vehicle stopped gliding completely.
Wu suo wei was free falling and he couldn't think of any better precaution than to grab his wicked hat tighter and brace for wherever he landed.
Wu suo wei cried out ,"Oh enchantress Circe ! Bestow your wickedness over this dumb witch !"
The hazy cloud around him had started vanishing and tall architectures flooded his vision. None of them resembled houses and buildings he was used to back at home but suo wei was sure these had to be related to human residences .
Shit.
If he managed to get noticed in the human world, not only will he be suspended but also will probably get kicked out of wicked Uni before he can graduate!
"Oh Mother gothel ,the witch of witches, save this incompetent enchantress! " Little witch screamed as he grabbed Matilda ,the broom, harder." I will never ever sneak out again! Hex mistress Rola ! Cast any spell and call this noble student of yours back to moon!"
But no amount of prayers could transmigrate wu suo wei back to his home. He was done for.
The city lights flooded his vision but blurred instantly as he squeezed his eyes tight. These human and their polluted earth was making his eyes sting !
Wu suo wei's dark robes flattered around him as he fell and fell,fell between the atmosphere layers, between the clouds. A final grasp of doom clutched him with finality and wu suo wei finally accepted his fate.
Wu suo saw a huge reflecting surface in front of him in a few nanoseconds along with a blaring alarm inside his skull-
The witch crashed.
Sounds of breaking and groaning rumbled like a catastrophy as if the world was crumbling down. A loud cry of impact came out of him when he slammed down. Wu suo wei felt cramped like a piece of paper flattening. Even his hat had tumbled off of his head and winced two feet from him.
"Oh my wicked mother!" The witch cried .
His Head spinned like those magic stars back home and body felt like jello. For a moment he thought he floated inside the black hole . A hand came to cradle his dizzying head as he tried to open his bleary eyes.
The witch could finally see clear enough to distinguish his intact limbs when suddenly a realisation dawned upon suo wei. Aside from feel like an absolute mushy avocado...he didn't feel pain at all.
He took a fall so great it almost rivaled Icarus and he wasn't hurt a bit?
For a furthermore confirmation that he wasn't dead and delusional, he patted all over his arms and stomach. Nothing hurts.
So....did witches become pain proof in human world?
The thought instantly poured rainbows inside his chest as he hoovered over his palms on a whim, gathering himself shakily despite -
"Oh fuck" a pained groan.
He stopped moving.
It wasn't wu suo wei .
"What the actual hell??" A sharper rebuke that stole wu suo wei's newly gained breath. It was also around the same time he realised that what had been under his palms wasn't concrete or plain ground. It was a human body. A very warm, chiselled -
and with more dread Wu suo wei registered that he wasn't sitting on some grass or bush,he was plopped,very comfortably so, on the lap of a man.
The human however didn't look comfortable at all.
Fuck fuck fuck
Wu suo wei scrambled up with his last wicked dignity and ran at least five meters away from the man. He quickly grabbed his fallen hat on the way and wore it as if in a habit ,as if it could anyhow make him more presentable and respectable.
He breathed in puffs as his round eyes were starting at the human widely,hands pulled up a bit in defence mechanisms, so he can cast any spell if he needs to.
He could see the human better now. It was a very tall one ,he understood even if the man was laying on the ground whimpering in pain . The witches broom layed over his chest but wu suo wei was in no hurry to retrieve it. This damn broom was the sole cause of his downfall! Literally!
The man slowly sat up doubled over from the pain of having a whole human sized....thing crash over him from nowhere. His face ,now in light, crunched painful wrinkles of having his guts shuffled, one of his hands rubbing his chest .
Wu suo wei's breathe stopped.
Never ....on earth or moon.... had he ever seen such a beautiful looking witch or human.....
The man snapped his eye towards him in a piercing glare .
"Who the fuck are you?" Thr groggy voice of the man made suo wei jerk his head out of the momentary distraction.
Wicked wei you can't be bedazzled now! Be a man! Be strong and confront!
"Who are you" the witch countered with a newly newfound confidence, trying to sound rough and tough despite not having a single rough and tough bone in his body.
"You son of a - how dare you question ME? YOU ARE STANDING ON MY PROPERTY!!" The man howled.
Wu suo wei kept his distance as he gulped. Mind racing to find answers,he gulped again. He didn't move his eyes from him." Well ..I do have to know whose house I crashed..."
Chi Cheng's nose flared as he was pissed with every word this thing before him spew no matter how jumpy his stance looked. But More important curiosity brothered him at that moment. Crashed....over him...?
The witch saw the exact moment the gears in his brain went the right direction .
Oh no poor guy-
"Where did you even fall from on a fifteenth floor?????!?" Chi cheng horrifically questioned looking over his head. His hands unconsciously came over his head just in case.
Wu suo wei nervously laughed. How should he begin to explain witchery to a mortified human? More importantly should he even? What's the confirmation this man won't capture him and send him to scientists? Wu suo wei once heard humans run terrifying experiments on creatures. The witch shuddered at the thought.
"Um..I slipped?" He tried sheepishly.
"From fucking where? Hell???"
"The hell is underground-" " What?-"
Then chi cheng paused. He slowly took in the boy's weird cloak, his tall hat,the broom....what is even a broom doing here? Then he stared back at the broken lanky table and then at the sky. He rationalized......no human should be doing anything that included falling on the balcony of on of the tallest skyscrapers.
Chi Cheng once again eyed the boy before him. Jumpy, akward ,quaky ,weird and unearthly......
"What are you?" He asked quietly. Instinctively, instinct that went the opposite of normal human, chi cheng took a step forward.
Wu suo wei jumped higher as be ran back again , accusatory hands jabbing in the air. " You You You!! Stay back ! Stay back I say! "
Chi cheng stopped at the alarm. But then opened his mouth at the ridicule .
"You earthling! I will dangle you in the air so long you will cry for your wicked mother!!' wu suo wei had already begun summoning the lines inside his head when a pissed chi cheng groaned," What did you say?-'
Panic almost made suo wei dizzy,he couldn't think of a single action he could take to control such situation,his uni never had such course before. Oh mother gothel ,what would you do if you got discovered by a human? An intelligent human at that!?!?
At the same time Chi Cheng's brain geared another direction as well. What if the one in front of him is an assassin? A very skilled one who might have somehow climbed fifty stories and somehow somewhere higher and kinda failed and dropped over him? An assassin who was dressed weird and had brooms instead of shotguns? Wouldn't that make so much more fucking sense!?!?
"You-" Chi cheng begun with a sense of awareness,rigid in tone.
"I told you to stay put didn't I!?" Suo wei yelled and subconsciously shoot his hands out and drizzles of white substances shot out, solidifying into critical patterns. Chi cheng momentarily stilled at the display and went to duck under his arms.
Folds of net poured over chi cheng , engulfing him whole .
......
Silence filled the air around the witch and the human. Suo wei's eyes almost bulged out as realisation began to creep in. Fuck he had done it. If there was any chance of his running out of here unscratched, that's vaporised now. He still dared hope the human wouldn't on point catch his origin.
Please please .....
Chi cheng looking up from under all the ruined hairstyles and intricate nets. For a moment he went completely blank. He....felt like a fish..
Suo wei must have gone crazy but somehow he read the 'what the actual literal hell fuck??" Off of Chi Cheng's eyes.
A very nervous and a very not intimidating huff of laughter left suo wei, probably to calm his own nerves. "Look, I-um- will- no! I ..may spare ...Your life ..if you...." His stammer broke again. How do you fucking threaten someone looking like a threat himself????
"If you...." Suo begun sweating under chi Cheng's incredulous look.
"I-" suo wei flinched and squeaked two steps more behind as Chi cheng suddenly began clawing at the net. "H-hey what are you doing!! Don't do that! It takes hell of effort to make that you little shit!"
"Fuck you you son of a gun! Release me! This instant! I won't fucking spare you just wait !" Chi cheng gritted and finally tore apart the surprisingly taut net. Suo wei's whole body went cold.
Chi cheng stepped out of the damn trap and lurched forward. Wu suo wei hyperventilated.
Suo wei yelled the first spell that came to his mind and his hands moved on their own.
Buckets after buckets of water fell over chi cheng who gasped loud at the cold temperature freezing his whole . Instantly his body froze and his limbs went number. It was so cold that jitters went down his body. He screeched " ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY!?!!?"
Suo wei once again winced at the yell but there was nothing else that came to his mind other than that !! He was innocent too!!
"I told you to stop!"
"And I told you to scram you nutjob!"
"Why won't you just stand still and listen to me!??" Suo wei whined almost crying himself dramatically. This human was so handful he couldn't even explain himself!
Shivering, Chi Cheng's teeth cluttered as he gritted," I will listen to you once you are tied and locked up in a jail you fucking magician or whatever fuck!" He jerked his head like a wet dog to remove the freezing droplets,god he was so freaking cold.
"Do you want me to shut your mouth for you as well?? Hmm??" Suo wei sneered. He had thought this human would be sensible judging from his looks and quick wit but he takes that back!
In a fit of rage, suo wei muttered a spell under his breath and clicked his fingers. Ominous feeling washed over Chi cheng seeing his mouth move. Dread flashed in his eyes,hands still shivering. " What are you-"
Silence
"I-".....
Bubbles flew around chi cheng.
Chi cheng shut his mouth tight and stared down at suowei with the most distasteful look he could muster .
Pulling tricks to make bubbles come out of his mouth every time he spoke? Fucking distasteful.
"BAHAHAHAHA" Suo Wei burst into a damning laughter almost bending at his stomach. He squealed in amusement completely ignoring the death glare settling over him.
Veins twitched over Chi Cheng's clenched fists.
