Summary
“Mike.” Will’s voice came out soft but stern. “Let’s not do this again.”
Mike felt his heart flutter painfully. He looked back into Will’s eyes, trying hard to make sense of his words. “What?”
Finally those raindrops fell, streaking Will’s reddening cheeks and bringing with them a storm of words that Mike had been wholly unprepared for. “Let’s not pretend you’re going to call me.”
****Will says goodbye to Mike and heads to his new school in New York, where he meets his charming new roommate.
(Will builds a relationship with Carlton, only for Mike to come crashing in like a wrecking ball.)
