    Summary

As long as Yoo Joonghyuk wasn't singing, he was the perfect siren.

“Are you sure you’re a siren?” Kim Dokja asked, lips curled in amusement. He leaned over the railing of his ship to peer down at the siren beneath; the dim lights of the fires illuminated the sharp planes of Yoo Joonghyuk’s face, the flame reflected in his eyes. “I mean, you’ve certainly got the looks for it, but you know… that voice of yours…–”

“Shut it,” Yoo Joonghyuk grit out, a scowl dampening his handsome features and twisting them into something uglier. “I just need to practice.”

“Please,” Kim Dokja huffed, rolling his eyes. He raised a hand, waved it, and continued, “you can barely hold a melody. Your pitch and tone are all off, not to mention your rhythm. Just about everything needs work.”

Yoo Joonghyuk is the textbook definition of a siren these days: beautiful, alluring, with a hauntingly enchanting voice. That is, until he starts singing.

And Kim Dokja's the idiot that decides it's a great idea to teach a tuneless siren how to use his voice.
