Sonar was irritated, everyone can see it. His usual laid back crypto bro demeanor was taking a backseat. He's been snapping at everyone in the comms and he's glaring at everyone trying to approach him personally within the SDN. He's also become a little bit too aggressive with his missions, he almost failed a few with his semi raged state during a low stakes robbery at a small shop. Malevola even asked Robert to talk to him along with the others who were getting rubbed the wrong way by the pissed off bat hybrid.
Truth be told he wasn't like that a few days ago. He'd actually been pretty chipper when not on missions and since they decided to date in secret. He even went so far to spring fancy coffee for everyone on Monday a few days after they got together. He wanted to know what changed. After the last call for the day, Robert instructed him to head back to SDN so they can have a discussion, the hybrid just grunted an affirmative and turned off his comm.
“Sonar? What’s gotten into you? You’re kinda in a bad mood and it’s kinda affecting people” Robert asked as they sat down in the conference room.
Sonar’s body language still feels like he’s guarded or closed of but he took a breath as he pointedly looked at the dispatcher.
“You know what you did” Sonar accused narrowing his milky white eyes as he sneered.
“Me?! What did I do?!” Robert says defensively before taking a breath. “Victor…” he starts in a voice he knew the hybrid responded to.
Sonar’s body language stood up abruptly almost toppling his chair. “Don’t you Victor me! You don’t…you can’t…” he tries to speak but words escape him as his ears droop down.
Oh crap this was serious. “Sonar, calm down. Talk to me, please?” Robert soothes as he stood up placing his hands infront of him in a placating manner.
The hybrid huffs as he sits back down, expression still pinched. He takes a breath before turning towards Robert with the most wounded expression he ever gave.
“You kissed him…” Sonar accused in a broken whisper. Robert’s turn to look confused.
“Him? Who-“ he remembers. Phenomaman had kissed him in the parking lot after clearing things up with what happened with Blazer a few days ago...Sonar was there?
“Phenomaman?!” He said out loud making the hybrid scowl and look away in anger.
Robert’s confusion turned to amusement as he remembered that little exchange. It’s not like he wanted to be kissed, he was picked up unceremoniously and had alien lips on him. He couldn’t help the scoff that came out of his mouth.
Victor’s eyes snapped back to him as he narrowed them but grew wide as Robert threw himself towards the seated hybrid, lips locked firmly on his snout and lean but strong arms wrapped around his furry neck.
Sonar’s brain short circuited as he didn’t know if he should remain angry or accept what his man was doing to him…he can get mad later. He just kissed back wrapping his own arms around his man.
“You silly bat, that wasn’t intentional at least not for me. He just wanted to test out a running thought in his head on why he and Blazer broke up” Robert said sinking into the fur on Victor’s neck.
“Which is?” The hybrid questioned holding the man tighter.
“I’m a bad kisser?” He said burying himself with dark gray fur. Victor scoffed relief filling his mind.
“I’d have to argue about that, your kisses are amazing” Victor said with his usual snark and a purr mixing with his voice. Making the man chuckle against him.
They stayed like that for a minute before Robert asked “Better?”
“Yeah, I’m good…Sorry. Gonna have to say that to the others" Victor said nuzzling against the man's neck taking in his scent.
“We already know babes, just make it up to us later” Malevola said opening the conference door showing their little audience looking at them amused.
“You know we have cameras everywhere right?” Blazer smiled shaking her head.
“I think Visi recorded everything, Prism was gonna upload it to her socials. The views would be caliente’ “ Flambae commented with a smirk.
“Don’t you dare!” Robert warned standing up and pulling away from Victor who let out a small whine.
“Awww that’s cute! In a weird sorta way, tell me you captured that” Prism said excitedly looking over to a visible Invisigal.
“Every second of it” she grinned shaking her phone for emphasis. which promptly dropped after a focused sonic blast from the hybrid.
"Hey! So uncool!" Visi said making sue her phone was still working.
“Alright that’s enough, let’s leave them alone…for now. Good shift guys” Blazer said gesturing for everyone to go before giving Robert a wink as she closed the door behind her. Victor smiled before turning back to a scowling hybrid.
Robert looked confused and looked to the door and back to Sonar. "Really? Even Blazer? Vic come on, don't be like that" Robert said approaching the hybrid again who possessively wrapped his arms around him burying his snout on a lean but well muscled abdomen.
"Sonar didn't say anything except mutter a firm "Mine" against his stomach. Robert wrapped his arms around the hybrid scratching the sensitive base of his ears. He muttered a quiet "Yours" just low enough for the bat to hear as his arms held the man tighter.
