“Char char! Come here!” Called Lucifer.
“Okay, dad!” Charlie was planning things for the hotel with Vaggi, so she left it to her while she went to see what her dad wanted. “Hey, dad! What did you want to talk to me about?”
Lucifer excitedly pulled Vox from behind a wall and said, “Meet your new stepfather!”
“... Dad. That is the man that used you as a weapon against heaven.” Charlie just stared at Vox, in disbelief. “Well, at least.. what’s the story?”
Lucifer was practically clinging on to Vox’s arm now, and they actually did look in love, which was definitely surprising to Charlie to say the least. Vox then said, “There is no story. He just found what I did kinky. He also found out I can play duck movies and shows on my screen.” Vox gave Lucifer, who was very short compared to him, head pats. “Oh, and uh.. expect to see me around here much more often. Your father’s perfect for me.”
“Okay..! This is uh.. great! I’ll just uh.. be right back!” Charlie said, desperately. Once she got to her room, she immediately called her mom. And like normal, the call went to voicemail. “Hey, mom.. please call back. Dad is going insane.”
