Work Text:
One evening, just as the lighting was about to go golden with the sunset, Flare received a page from their Drifter: "hey. come back home asap; I have a special gift for you <3 one that's *far* overdue."
Lizzie gasped, reading the message through their eyes. "Lover.. It's time!!"
Both of them knew what this had to be, nothing else could come to mind. Drifter's wedding ring for them was finally done. Flare hadn't gotten stage fright in a long time, but whew, did their heart just start beating at double time.. "I know.. Hey—" They snapped their kinepage shut and got up from their stool on the stage of the Round Table, looking up to address Velimir who was getting the bar ready for the night. "Vel. Got a surprise waiting for me back home that's getting very impatient apparently, mind running an impromptu open mic night?"
Velimir nodded and gave Flare a big thumbs up, "Can do! Go get em, tiger!"
Flare laughed and playfully made a somewhat infested-sounding growl towards him, making a cat's claw motion with one hand, and then started quickly walking towards home.
Hells, they felt so nervous.. Boros' promise to make them their own equivalent of a wedding ring had honestly slipped their mind for a while given everything that happened in this loop and late in the last one.. Just having them back, alive and breathing? That still felt amazing.. First there was— well, far more than a scare, with their death, then they'd coaxed one of their own warframes to a life of his own.. Then the scare with Duviri and the Indifference a couple weeks back.
Lover.. Remember Your promise? To Us, about when Our Demon completed Their gift for You? You PROMISED.
I know. I know.. We can't put it off forever..
They promised her— no more putting it off, if or rather when Boros completed the round of rings by giving them and possibly Liz their own.. They'd tell them. Boros, at least—
Sugar pup, too! We CANNOT keep this in any longer or We WILL simply burst!
—Both of their spouses, about the comet. There was only so long they could keep giving Lizzie excuses about how this wasn't a lie, actually. And she in her honest ways had certainly dropped about a thousand hints, from day one of this, ever since Flare found out about it.
Maybe even before.. Because you always knew it would end here, didn't you?
You've been marked out for Us from birth, lover— and Us for You. <3 Of course We knew.
Kullervo's sentience gave them hope that it was going to be alright, so did Lizzie's own promise, of course; She was remarkably clear in her wording for once— they'd retain themself, their mind, their memories. They'd sleep just like any other night for possibly thousands of years until they heard the Naga Drums, then she'd wake them. They'd finally get to go on a rampage through Orokin halls for their Angel on their first day ever as Temple, and then..
Well, then Temple would wait for them— for their Drifter. As long as it took. Until Boros left Duviri for the first time and looked Temple in their brand new eyes.. And then they'd assure Drifter they'd never be alone again. That they never were alone, in the end. Re-write all the miserable memories Drifter had shared over the years of how alone they felt before all this.
They were still a bit nervous about the paradox this was making, if that'd fuck something up somehow, but— they had a little adorable living proof waiting back home with their spouses that something odd was working in their favor.
And there she is.
"Ripper you do have to give the ball back for me to throw it— there you go, good girl! Fetch!"
Flare pushed through the door to the backroom to see Boros and Amir waiting for them, laughing to one another over a teenaged Vulpaphyla named Ripper bounding across the room after an already heavily gnawed on rubber ball, hissing and snarling adorably, pouncing her 'prey' then bringing it back proudly in her split jaw to present back to Boros.
As silly as it felt, Ripper was proof they weren't causing some kind of world-shattering paradox, here— there was another them, well— themself from the future, who named that sweet little infested fox-thing who would one day soon faithfully be tearing Scaldra to shreds.
Boros and Amir turned to Flare as they stepped in, big smiles on their faces. Aw, cute, Boros thought— if they weren't wrong, despite their usual confident nature, Flare looked a bit nervous about this behind their excitement.. They hoped they were just nervous about this, that is; "Hey, sweetheart.. Everything alright?"
"..Yeah, everything's fine." Flare smiled back, though their tone concerned Lizzie. They're not going to push this off again, are they? "Apparently you have something for me?" They said in a playful, knowing tone, glancing curiously around Drifter, their work table and their own personal practice space for any 'hidden' little gift boxes. "Or for Us, maybe?"
"I do, yeah, for both of you.. Let's go upstairs, get cozy?" Boros stood and led Flare and Amir upstairs and got settled in with them, with Flare between the pair of them on a couch. Boros bashfully looked away for a moment, diving their hand into a pocket of their soft jacket to pull out two objects that fit in their palm. They took a deep breath, shared a moment's glance with Amir and focused back on Flare. Here goes nothing.. "So um.. Just like with our wife, I had to get creative given your hands.. I will admit part of the difficulty was because I don't exactly have a copy of you I can try the look out on, like I did for Amir—"
And They never will— but They will have Us.
"—So this may take a small amount of refitting, if I messed the size up?" They awkwardly chuckled.
"That's fine. I'm willing to sit for a refit if it's needed.. Though good luck getting this one," Flare shrugged a shoulder to gesture to Lizzie on their back, "To sit still if you need to refit anything on her too many times."
A struggle Boros was all too aware of from another recent project of theirs, that had also been put off for far too long.. Not their fault in that case, and they were amazed Lizzie hadn't slipped up and said something. Then again, given how many ideas she had about forming herself a 'Coda' of her own, half of Flare's brain processes might be taken up by 'Lizzie imagining herself as a million million different forms' on the regular..
"Got an extra pair of hands if need be, there." Amir laughed, wiggling his own hands before chucking that ball across the room towards the stairs for Ripper, who had been hopping around him begging to have it thrown or even just given back to her to gnaw on with her sharp, still-growing teeth.
"OoOoh, Sugar Pup wants to hold US down?!?"
"Focus, Liz.." Flare smirked to her, then focused back to Boros expectantly.
Here goes nothing.. "Iiiii feel like this is the part where I ask you to marry me? But uh, given recent events, I think that's pretty set in stone!" Boros softly laughed and opened their palm towards Flare, smiling widely as they revealed their gifts for their rockstars.
In Drifter's palm sat not two rings, but similar to the 'ring finger' they'd gifted Amir, two modifications for existing elements on both halves of Temple— for Flare, a replacement for the finger pick that was on their right index finger that was rendered in Entrati-toned gold, and for Lizzie, one matching the polycule's other wife— a replacement for one of the small lower claws that were a part of her bridges that was engraved with a ring-like design of semi-abstract flames and hearts.
"Liz's can go on either of her necks, her choice, but um.. I think you know where that goes? Look closer at it, I swear it's not just a color change."
As Lizzie squealed and giggled on their back excitedly in reaction to her own, Flare quietly took their new pick from Boros' hand, desperately trying not to cry— An effort which failed the moment they looked closer and read the inscription Boros left along the inner edge, where it'd be protected from any wear or tear, though Flare knew Lizzie would repair it herself if it did.. Wrapped into an abstract flame design that spiraled around the whole piece, somewhat reminiscent of Lizzie's own organic shapes, was a simple if intense heartfelt phrase that broke Flare immediately; "My Guiding Star."
Boros' and Amir's faces turned from nervous excitement to extreme concern the moment Flare broke down crying, which quickly turned to sobbing. Them getting emotional, that was expected, but.. Those don't seem like happy tears..
Boros carefully sat Lizzie's replacement claw down on a side table and reached forward to put a comforting hand on Flare's shoulder, noting also that Lizzie herself had gone very quiet. Oh shit. What's going on? "..What's wrong? If you don't like it, I can think of something else—"
Flare shook their head, clasping onto the pick in their palm. "No— No, I adore it, Angel, it's so sweet of you, I just— Fuck.."
Lizzie curled an arm around Flare's shoulder, wiping some of the tears from their eyes with a claw, "Sweet Flare.. Lover.. We have to tell Them sometime. If not now, then when, sweetness?"
"I.. I know." Flare let out a defeated sigh, reaching up to place their empty hand over Lizzie's on their shoulder, eyes still screwed shut as they tried to calm themself enough to speak clearly. "I am."
Amir looked more concerned now, glancing to Boros for any hint of them knowing what this was about, and then panickedly back to Flare when he saw that Boros looked just as confused as he did. "U-uh.. Flare.. What's she talking about??" Why does it suddenly feel like something really bad is about to happen??
"I-I'm.. Fuck.. I can do this." Flare took in a shaking breath to center themself, refusing to make eye contact with either of their concerned partners as they managed to open their now bloodshot eyes. "I wanted to tell you this a long time ago, now.. Hell, it feels like ages ago. I've known since Lizzie and I got together, I just.. I didn't know how to say it to either of you, especially after we fell in love. Fuck.. I thought about telling you that night, BEFORE the two of you confessed to me." Flare started crying again, lips curling into a quivering smile. "Then you did! And everything changed.. I, um. Fucking hells, Varleon, words are your whole job—" They took in another deep breath and just.. Said it. Plain and clear, no poetry— "I'm.. Gonna change, someday, transform. The rest of the way. And when I do, I'll.. I have to leave the two of you."
Boros gave Flare a very bewildered, heartbroken look, which was shared by Amir, "What.. Flare, what do you mean?! E-even if you did, the madness can't take you, and—"
"I have to, Angel. Or else, how do I get here?" Flare said, finally making eye contact to give Boros a very knowing look. "I know you've thought of it.. You're smart. You probably realized it before me and Liz were together, didn't you? What am I, starlight? Who am I?"
Boros calmed suddenly, if only because their blood just ran ice cold in their veins. Oh fuck. they were right. All those loops ago now, they were right. "You're.. You. You always have been. Oh.. Oh, Void I was right.." They gasped their last sentence out in horror, covering their mouth with a hand as they started crying with Flare.
Flare smiled serenely. Of course.. Of course they figured it out all the way back then. That's their Angel.. "I knew that you had to know.. Yeah. Temple. I've seen that name in your notes.. Just a theory or a joke on my stage name, you thought, but no.. That's my name. Our name." They patted Lizzie on her neck, nudging their cheek into her affectionately, "Entrati had to get the materials for that serum he stabbed me with from somewhere. We're more alike then we knew again, aren't we?" They choked out a laugh, "I've gotta go make another fucking paradox, or else I never end up here, with you. I'd just.. Die on the floor of my tour bus of techrot, or transform in the bad way and devour the Rippers alive.. Or I would have died with them."
Lizzie'd shown them all of those scenarios from other branches of reality, one time they insisted they could just stay with Amir and Boros, they were already HERE, so why do they need to go?! No. No they can't break their own loop, or else no matter what, everything breaks and everyone they love will die anyway, including themself AND her..
"I'd never get here, Liz would never be made.. So.. There's gotta be a Temple in the future to take the serum from.. And that would have to be me. You ever seen something like me in the future, Angel?"
Boros shook their head, sinking further into the couch as if a massive weight had just been placed on them. "No.. No, I.. Oh, god.." No, they haven't. Temple was unique. They'd never seen anything like them until they walked in that door. That's the first thing they noted about them, aside from who they were..
Amir was sobbing as well, though he didn't quite understand what was being implied here— Just that he'd lost Flare once, and he was going to again, that he ALWAYS was going to?! "Wh-what.. I-I-I don't.. I don't understand— Flare, are you gonna— are you gonna die?! Because the way that you're talking about this sounds a hell of a lot like you're talking about you dying!"
Oh gods, that hurts. Flare turned to Amir, shaking their head no and then bringing him in to give him a tearful kiss on the forehead. No, not quite, Lightning. "Yes and no.. Flare Varleon will, and Temple will be born. For real. But.. I won't be gone, if that's any comfort? Just.. Different. I promise you that. I.. I won't lie, I'm really fucking terrified!" They let out an almost mad, anxious laugh, "But I trust Lizzie, and you know she's promised no matter what, I'll still be me. My mind, my memories.. The love we have for the both of you." They sighed, pulling back from Amir a bit as they continued to explain, "There's. There's a comet. Kaya found it, not long after she went to the future— she's known all this time, been keeping it secret for Us."
Hells, they can't look at those two when they say this part..
Flare screwed their eyes shut and continued, tears turning to steam as they fell onto the hot red plating on the back of their hand that was holding Boros' gift like it was the last thing holding them together— because it was. "At the end of a loop, after Our concert— I'm gonna go into hibernation and hitch a ride on that train. It leaves here and makes it around the stars and back just in time for me to arrive at a certain night you never saw, Drifter. Lizzie will make sure I don't oversleep."
"The night of the drums.." Lizzie purred, tightly hugging her Flare with pride dripping off her voice, "When sweet Octavia drops the beat and those drums kick in, We will be there to spark the fire of the revolution. As We always have."
"I'll make sure we rip out some Orokin throats for you, beautiful.. I.. I don't know exactly when the rest of my transformation gets set off, and I don't want to. I know that's too much of a weight on any of us.. But it's going to happen.. Soon. And.. I'm at peace with that. But.." They felt like their drumbeat of a heart was about to shatter right out of their chest saying this, but it was important, to let them know this was an option, "I-I understand if you aren't.. I understand if this is too much for you two, and you uh.. Wanna take this back." They clasped onto that pick in their hand tighter, counter to their words. They didn't want to give it up, or the ones Amir had given them, but.. If they had to, they would. "It uh.. Heh. It wouldn't be the first time I lost a lover or two to my lifestyle, certainly. Plenty of people can't handle having a partner that goes out on the road like I do." They let out a miserable laugh, "This really is like we're going on tour, isn't it, Lizzie.."
Despite all the tears around her, Lizzie laughed as if nothing at all was wrong, "Our first tour Together, Alive and screaming.. The last concert in Höllvania, and the first for the new born system without the azure tyrants. We will be in SUCH ecstasy, lover~ drenched in blood and ash.."
Gods— why are those two so quiet, are they just in shock, or.. Are Flare's fears correct? "I.. I'm.. I promise no matter what, that I love you two, with all my heart. I don't.. I don't want to do this to you, and I'm gonna try and get back to you, but.. I know it won't be.. Me anymore?" They started sobbing again, choking up on their words, on the horror still inherent here— they fought so hard to be them, and they would be, but this still felt like losing themself, somehow. "The one you've gotten used to, the one you fell in love with, and I don't know how long I'll be gone on this end.. But know that.." They sniffled, "I love you two, FOREVER. This is what I've meant, every. Single. Fucking. Time. I've said that. To either of you. I just.. Didn't have the guts to tell you any of this.. So uh.. Yeah, I guess that's.. That's that, then. I understand if you want the rings back, if this is the end of our ride together, especially since I've been hiding this for all this fucking time, and you're right to be mad as hell at me about that if you are, but.." Flare sobbed, fully losing any of the fragile composure they had been acting on, "You two have changed my life. Entirely. And I don't know who I'll be without you— Fuck, I don't know who I'll be with you, so far away through space and time, but it's— it's alright if you don't want Us anymore—"
Flare's eyes snapped open as they were dragged into a tight hug by all three of their partners; Amir's arms around their waist, Drifter's around their shoulders, and Lizzie as far as she could around all of them.
Boros nuzzled deep into Flare's neck and chest, still sobbing, "Flare.. Just.. Put on the damn pick, you beautiful fucking wreck."
"Wh—" Really?! They didn't even sound angry. They have the right to be. It's been years, and Flare didn't even admit this when they went to Duviri— hell, this wasn't even in that note they left for Amir when they thought they were going to end it all in Helminth's embrace..
Boros backed up a bit, smiling through their tears and laying a loving hand on Flare's cheek, gently thumbing their tears and smeared makeup away. "Of course we'll still love you, silly.. No matter what or who you come back as. Right, Amir?"
Amir nodded, sniffling as he buried his crying face into Flare's shoulder. "Of course! Nothing's gonna stop that, Flare.. Promise. You two are ours."
See, We told You, Lover— have a little faith in Our sweethearts.
Boros choked up a bit again, bringing Flare back into a hug. "..If— When that happens, um.. There's another me out there," Boros gave a shaky smile, "You know that.. The Operator. Kitha. Think of them like— like my little sibling. Even if they don't know you yet whenever you get to them, they'll love you too, I know it."
They do— they're over there, laughing with Us now, far far away from here.. But yet so close on the horizon.
"Find them. There's.. A lot of us Tenno, but I know you can find them, you're as crazy as I am.." They laughed, "And we don't look that different, I'm sure you'll recognize them. They— they'll make sure you get back home. I'm sure of it.. Hell— the moment they find you? I'll come get you." Boros said very confidently, "We can't— It's. Complicated, we can't exist in the Origin system at the same time, but.. I'll fucking claw my way back and grab you myself if I must. I love you too, Flare. Forever. I mean it, same as you, those weren't hollow words.. After all, I'm not certain if I can truly die.. You've even made certain of that, by shoring up my defenses the way you did." Drifter smirked a bit, looking over Flare's shoulder through tears to the mounted head of their Orowyrm on the wall, "And.. Fuckin'. Flare you fucking drama queen— Flare! I've been with Kullervo! Of course we'd love you even if you transformed, you goofball! That would be true even if I didn't already have precedent of loving a Warframe like that!" They laughed at the absurdity of that as it set in. "You know how much I love all of you, not just the human parts.."
Flare smiled, finally composing themself to reciprocate on the hug to both of them as Lizzie purred on their back, "I— You're.. You're right, Angel.. I'm.. I'm sorry."
"Don't be, I understand.. This shit's hard, these crazy lives of ours." Boros kissed Flare on their cheek, coated in hot tears and melting dark makeup and glitter, "I don't care what or who you become— what you look like, what you sound like.. Even if you lose your beautiful voice.." They started choking up again, realizing that. Void, they're probably going to lose their voice.. Their voice. Ballas you fucking bastard, they're a singer. "I love you. Forever and always. Everywhere and everywhen."
Flare sniffled and repeated the sentiment as they felt Amir nod in agreement against their side, "Everywhere and everywhen."
Amir.. Was quiet. Far too quiet, until he finally drew back just a bit, tears still streaming down his cheeks. "..Um. Hey.. Uh. Not to. Make this about me, but.." Something was clearly bothering him— he had that 'I feel out of my depth and I don't want to admit it' kind of tone he got sometimes around Boros and their usual void shenanigans.
Flare broke off from Boros, giving Amir a concerned look. "What is it, lightning?"
Amir sniffled. Lua, this really is making it about him when this is their moment, but.. "I— I know, we all know.. Something. Something has to happen. 2000 is gonna roll around, or Kaya's temporal whosawhatsit's gonna finally complete or break down or whatever the hell, or just.. Somewhere's.. Gonna need you." He looked very sadly over at Drifter, in particular. "And.. I just.. I know it's selfish, but. Would you.."
Boros gave Amir a very serious look, suddenly. "Amir."
"Hm?" Amir practically whimpered out, with huge, sad, wet eyes.
Boros grabbed a tight hold of one of Amir's hands, maintaining eye contact as they spoke, "Amir. My heart. My love. The Indifference itself will have to fight me barehanded to take you away from me. And he's going to fucking lose." They hoarsely laughed, "If.. If I do have to leave, and I know I will; the year's gotta go somewhere, someday, or else there is no Origin System.. And I figure when it does, some other bullshit will sweep me somewhere else. Some other spot that needs this crazy paradox that I am. When that day comes, I swear to any god that fucking exists out there, if they do, I'm taking you with me. Hear me? You and every goddamn protoframe Entrati ever has or will turn in the 'plague year'. I'm taking. You. With. Me."
They said that with so much conviction it was almost terrifying. The kind of authority that reminded you they were a king once. That they still were.
"And if the loop keeps going, but I have to go? I'm coming back. I swear that upon my blackened, void-twisted heart, NOTHING can keep me from you. Any of you. Ever. My home is right here." They gripped onto Amir's hands tighter, thumbing over the ring engraved on his finger, "Not this room, not the mall, not 1999, you. Being here, by your sides? That's my home. And I'm not going to let anything take that away from me. Not ever again."
Flare nodded along, drawing Amir in close again and kissing his hair. "There will be hell to pay for anyone or anything that tries to keep any of Us from Our lightning. We promise you that."
Lizzie growled, "We would claw Our way back through the bloodstream of the Void Itself if anything dared try and steal Us from You again, Sweet Lightning Pup. You are Ours. Forever."
That was also.. Comfortingly terrifying. Amir sniffled, butted his head against Flare's shoulder again and then started laughing. "Man.. Times like this remind me of just how fucking above my paygrade I married.. Three fuggin' smoking hot chronospatial freakshows. I say that with all the love I got, to be clear— it seems like that's my type!"
Flare, Lizzie and Boros all cracked up laughing, finally breaking most of the melancholy air that had come over them since Flare started their confession.
"Amir, darling, you always underestimate yourself.. You're a catch too, you know. We'll say that as many times as you need to hear it to finally get that into that big brain of yours." Flare laid a kiss on his forehead. "How many stories of yours are of some cute, 'normal' nerd from the now and some bewilderingly strange and beautiful alien or something of the like from the future, or some fantasy dimension?"
Amir's cheeks went very red. "I— You're not wrong but— I— I kinda hate that shit actually, they always like, normalize out the alien or the vampire or whatever or find some way to make the dude have to save his lover who was super competent and cool just for the sake of making her a damsel in distress or some shit and—" That. Wasn't the point of why they were saying that Amir you dummy— "Iiiiii should just shut up and take the complement, huh.."
"Hey. You said it, not me, sugar." Flare chuckled, "You're definitely the best example of that trope, though, yes. Though the three of us are biased on that front."
Boros nodded, "Little bit, yeah.. Now." They sniffled and took Flare's hand, coaxing their fingers open to take the pick back, then gently unclip the one that was already on their finger and replace it with the new one. "We're not giving you up for anything, Flare. We promise." They leaned in and kissed Flare on the lips, "Lizzie, you too— which side do you want yours on?"
Lizzie finally dismounted Flare's back, squiggling herself down into their lap to offer herself up to get her own ring from her Demon, "Our right, to match Flare~" She squealed, melting the digit that it would be replacing off into the rest of her body to allow Boros to slot the one they made in, which she then melted into place amongst the rest. She let out a satisfied sigh and then triumphantly cheered, "FINALLY, we are ONE!" She descended into a cacophony of her usual giggling, melting across the laps of all of her human lovers. "In unison, nothing in this universe can stop Us.."
Amir snickered. "Things that would have sounded a lot more concerning before we got to know her better.."
Flare laughed with him— or rather with Lizzie, with her giddy mood bleeding over into theirs. "Seriously.." They sniffled and cleared their throat, then let out a sigh of relief. It's finally over, it's out there, no more secrets. "Oh, gods, that's such a weight off my shoulders.."
Boros gave them a bit of a sad smile, "Did you really think we'd give you up over this? Or be actually mad at you? I mean.. I do wish you'd told us sooner, don't get me wrong, but I'm not mad, just sad that you thought you had to keep that from us."
"I um.. I really hoped not, but.. You know my head, sugar. It's cruel to me more than it comes off as sometimes, even with Liz reassuring me." Flare sadly smirked back.
"Hey, that's alright, we get that, just— holy shit, babe, you scared the hell out of both of us!" Amir nervously laughed, "Seriously, the way you were building up there I thought you were leaving us or you were like, actually dying for real! But no, um.. Yeah, fuck this is gonna suck, but.. You're not getting rid of us anytime soon. Even if this was like, actual music touring or anything. We knew what we were getting into, marrying Future," He pointed between himself, Flare and Lizzie, "and we," He pointed between himself and Boros, "Knew what we were getting into marrying a rockstar. Just as long as you promise to come back and maybe bring some cool future souvenirs?" He chuckled, "We can be as patient as we need to, whether you come back like, the day after the loop turns over or loops and loops later. Just means we're gonna have a lot of kisses saved up that you've missed out on!" Amir kissed Flare on the cheek, "We'll have to keep a tab!"
"OoOoOoh.. Kisses and much more, We'll be missing out on, poor sweet Us.. We will certainly have to collect on that debt when We return~ always loved an afterparty, didn't We, Flare?" Lizzie mischievously giggled to Flare.
Flare blushed a bit and nodded, "Yeah, yeah we did.. Thank you two. So much.." They looked down to the new 'ring' on their hand proudly, "It's perfect, by the way— I'm sorry if I implied it wasn't by breaking down like that.. You did a really good job on this, Angel."
Boros rested up against Flare's side, running their fingers lovingly over Lizzie on their lap, "Thank you.. I'm glad I got the sizing right after all, it looks great on you. Even if this does mean there'll be a lot of Temples out there, someday, I'll know which one to look out for." They chuckled, "You're our Temple. Our rockstar. And we'll be here for you when you come back from your tour, I promise.. Say hi to everyone for me?"
Flare smiled at them, as their mind was subtly filled with images of so many people Flare had never met before, but they knew Boros had— Kitha, Ordis, the Lotus, Ticker, Kahl, Loid, and so many more.. They'd be meeting them all, finally, in the flesh. "I will."
Flare and their lovers cuddled and composed themselves from out of all their bittersweet tears, returning to a much more celebratory mood for the rest of the evening. After all, there was no great tragedy here, no death, no suffering— just a change. One that was for the better, in the end, even if it was still going to be terrifying..
But it was going to be alright. Lizzie was right once again, as she playfully repeated in Flare's head. It was always going to be alright, Flare just had to take the leap of faith and trust them.. And they couldn't be happier.
