   Summary

   (I watched the Silence of the Lambs and was struck by how similar Dr. Lecter and Artemis are.)

   Dr. Artemis Fowl II has gone back to his criminal predilections.

   He is not only a thief but a murderer and cannibal. His previous image as a genius and overarching psychiatrist has dissipated now that he’s in jail for eating both fairies/elves and humans alike. He is dangerous. Many call him the Fairy Butcher.

   An LEP cop, Captain Hollis Short(basically male Holly), is assigned to interview him and see if he can get anything out of the Doctor. He is surprised by how polite and even charming Dr. Fowl is despite the dank, bleak conditions he’s kept in.

   What happens when Hollis finds himself morbidly intrigued by Dr. Fowl?
