Chapter Text
On one peaceful morning, Tolys was sitting at his dining table, drinking a cup of tea. He was watching the sun rise, savoring the moment with each sip he took. “What a nice day it’ll be… though I’ll have to ruin it by going to work.” He looked down at the floor, sighing.
“WHAT THE HELL?!” Tolys heard a loud voice boom from the other door.
“Uhm… excuse me? Are you okay?” He knocked on the door, worried about his neighbor. The door hesitantly creaked, a face peaked out from behind. It was his next door neighbor, Feliks.
“Ah, neighbor! Uhm… would you mind helping me? I’m in quite a problem here, in a hurry as well,” Feliks opened the door wider, letting Tolys take a better look at the situation. His neighbor’s shower stall had violently spewed out water. Tolys’ eyes widened, realizing that this was no job for him.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t think I’m able to help you with this kind of problem. I’m no expert at plumbing…” He scratched the back of his head, nervously chuckling.
“Now, if you’d excuse me, I think I’ll take my leave-“ He slowly backed away towards the door.
“What?! C’mon, won’t you help me?! I’m in a rush right now and I need to shower! I’ve got to get ready for an interview, y’know…” the neighbor put a hand on his hip, gesturing with his other hand to show emphasis on his situation. Soon, he came to a conclusion, putting a finger below his lip.
“Hey, since I’d have no place to shower… probably in the next week or two, why don’t you let me wash at your place?” The man suggested, trying to persuade Tolys into agreeing.
“Well, not to be rude, but… can’t you just shower at the local gym or the nearby travel center?” Tolys shrugged.
“No, I can’t be seen at a musty place like that! It’ll ruin my reputation!” He added.
“Well, I don’t even know who you are…” Tolys replied.
“I’m Feliks; Feliks Łukasiewicz! Is that enough information?! Now, let me shower!!” Feliks rushed.
“That’s not really what I meant, but I guess it wouldn’t hurt-“
“OH, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!” Feliks interrupted and rushed over to grab all of his shampoo.
“Well, too late now, Tol.” Tolys thought to himself as he slapped himself on his forehead.
