Boyfriend's POV
"It's cold, very cold. All around the valleys of fireflies that illuminated the gentle village of the Roechales fields after the harvest, tiny crickets gathered around the plants and surprisingly sang their chirping with perfect harmony that would put anyone to sleep, a child or especially a newborn baby."
*Hehe, it's funny, you know? Her beautiful symphonies, despite being small and indivisible, remind me of her beautiful voice when we sang our first song.*
*That day we promised ourselves that we would take our music to every corner of the world so that everyone could hear it. So that they could see perfectly who we belong to and who we will love for the rest of our lives.*
Boyfriend: I guess my feelings weren't deep enough to reach your heart. -I still remember how we planned to sing together someday, not for popularity, but to show how much we loved each other- ...
"Remembering that, I shook my head several times, feeling a slight discomfort in the left and right movements. It wouldn't do me any good to dwell on it right now. I got up from the armchair I was sitting in; it wasn't the most comfortable in the world, but it was decent."
*With nothing else to do, I headed towards my room, which consisted of all the basics a normal person would need. It wasn't much, but it was enough for one person: a bluish-tinted bed, a wardrobe, a dressing room, a few brooches, and a storage room.*
Boyfriend: Uhm, I wonder if my house is still stable? -Knowing I left Pico in charge of the whole house, I wouldn't be surprised to see it reduced to ashes-
*The boy with light blue hair chuckled softly, his voice echoing in the boy's small home, as he reached for a coat.*
"The sounds of crickets could still be heard outside his house, still maintaining that perfect synchronicity. That, plus the fireflies that glowed in the green pastures of the countryside, made him feel nostalgic."
Boyfriend: And to think it's been 3 years since I last sang, it just brings back so many fun memories. -This black shirt looks great on me-
"The boy put that topic aside and decided to head to work since his house wasn't going to pay for itself. Instead of the white t-shirt he always wore, he now wore a dark gray t-shirt with red stripes down the sides of the sleeves and chest, still bearing the 'No Entry' symbol in the center. His typical light blue jeans were replaced by black ones with holes along the sides, paired with black gloves with eyelets and a matching sleeveless jacket. The only thing that didn't change were his shoes."
Boyfriend: Oh! My hair has grown more than usual. I think I'll cut it in the back. -A new look would be nice-
*He told himself to open the door of his house and feel the fresh air hit his face. The air was completely clean and free of environmental pollution from cars or any other means of transport. There were mostly just trails, rocky paths, and tickly grasses leading to a small town.*
Boyfriend: Alright, time to work. I'll take my bike and head down towards the village. -Too bad there's no cell service here to let me know I'll be late. This village is full of people from the countryside or retired old folks-
"Andorra, a small town in the Northwest countryside, far from the big city and the Funk Night Club, known for its pleasant valleys, landscapes, coastline, and low taxes. A suitable place for any retiree to move there, or other people too - a perfect place for a boyfriend to remain unrecognized."
*The young man with cyan hair rode his bicycle down the rock-solid dirt tracks. He had worked part-time shifts to buy a way to get around, a means of transportation that would help him make better use of his time. Over the years, he had grown a little, but he had reached the point where he could sit comfortably and pedal.*
Boyfriend: Uhm, what do I have in my pocket? *He takes one of his hands out of the harness and then puts the other in his pocket to see what's bothering him* -OH! This is...-

*This was one of the first photos we took at the beginning of my rap career. We took this photo the day we started dating, after practicing with her on stage.*
Boyfriend: I thought I had left it in my old "home," I guess something from the old still wants to stay in the present - I thought to myself. I wanted to throw it away to forget the past, but something told me not to and to keep it with me "for now." I don't know the reason why yet.
*With no other option, I put it away to the side and focused on getting back to work. I'm going as fast as I can before they deduct the salary I still need to eat.* -I need to stop thinking about that for now and concentrate on the present-

IN THE BIG CITY...
Skid and Pump's POV
The two children were dressed in their typical Halloween costumes. Beside them was Skid's mother, Lila. The woman with long purple hair was accompanying the Spooky Month duo to the park as they sometimes did in the afternoon. Since the woman worked at the hospital, she had to take part-time to look after the children because a certain rapper was no longer wandering the streets as they always saw him.
"He was always walking around with his girlfriend..."
*The children were saddened to learn of the escape of their half-sized friend. All they managed to find was a farewell letter and his cap.*
"In the past 3 years, they came across the news that Girlfriend had broken up with the black rapper Cien. Their response to that was that they didn't quite understand each other clearly, but upon receiving Boyfriend's response, he didn't say anything."
Skid: -Before we questioned Miss Girlfriend further, she... or rather, someone was with her at that time- *The little boy in the skull costume thought to himself*
"It's true that neither of the kids remembered what he really looked like, but he was a big guy and looked very strong. And even worse, his parents from Girlfriend were nice enough to him when he introduced them."
Skid: Girlfriend said she met him at the mall earlier that week. They started talking and he asked her out. She had said no, but in the end she accepted so as not to end things on a sour note. -I think he meant that he wouldn't take "no" for an answer, Skid-
*When the girl introduced them, to be honest... Skid didn't like the guy. Not at all.*
Pump: Skid, what do you mean something's wrong with that guy? -I think something's wrong with him too-
*The boy turned to his friend dressed as a pumpkin. Pump was a year younger than him, he always knew that; the boy had much more innocence than Skid himself. But, if there was one thing Pump didn't understand, it was the fact that Skid was paranoid about the guy Girlfriend was dating*... When he saw them, his face showed irritation.*
Skid: I still don't know, Pump." Skid's eyes darted away. "...But I do know one thing." -He definitely wasn't Boyfriend-
"As she said that, the two little boys looked at each other with deep sadness and longing." But Pump decided to speak.
Pump: I wonder if he's alright? -It's been at least three years since he left the city- *Skid just sighed for a few moments*
Skid: I don't know. He just left suddenly without saying anything to us. He didn't tell us where he was going, or where he was going. He just left without a trace. -The only things left of him were his favorite cap and a small letter with few words-
Pump swallows hard for a few seconds and speaks...
Pump: Do you think something bad might have happened to him...? -What are you trying to say, Pump?- *Skid quickly turned to his pumpkin-masked friend*
-W-well, we haven't heard from him in three years, and we haven't heard from him in any rap battles since his breakup with Girlfriend, and his fans haven't heard from him through his email. -Even Mr. Pico is looking for him and nothing-
Skid: N-no, let's not think about those things, Pump. Our friend Boyfriend will be fine. Somehow I know it. He's overcome many challenges that Mr. Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mehest have put him through. I know he'll be alright.
Pump put his arms around his friend, and Skid hugged him back. "Let's hope Mr. Pico finds our friend, Spooky Pump."
Pump blinked back tears. Of course... Let's do it for our hideous friend...
"Both young men, now with their determination shining in their eyes, like in the days of rap battles, were ready to find their friend."
If only they had known what was going to happen in this time...
...
Boyfriend's POV
"It was already late afternoon, and the boy was leaving a grocery store in a crowded area. Elderly people were coming to buy supplies for their homes, and people were very kind to him the whole time he was with him..."
*Sometimes he would hum songs from the radio and people would compliment him on his beautiful singing. Even though it was a place without much technology to maintain peace, there were some necessities like televisions and radios.*
-He was also known for that, but Boyfriend didn't do it very often, so as not to leave a trace-
*The young man was just leaving the store. His midday shift was done and he had received his pay. He still had the whole afternoon to enjoy a well-deserved rest before starting his midnight shift.*
(...But before that, the young man with flowing hair would go to a place a little far from the city, more specifically in the countryside...)
"He took his bicycle and headed towards the place created in his mind, bought a couple of white flowers the color of light green tulips, and went towards his destination."
30 MINUTES LATER...
*Arriving at a fenced area full of grass, flowers, and animals, the young man peered out from behind the bushes and saw a clear stream flowing from it. Everything was still as he had left it.*
"Spreading out the flowers so they wouldn't wilt, the boy slowly approached a gravestone he had made himself." -Inside it, there was the figure of a man carved into it, in shades of gray, but it was well done so that his face could be recognized-

Boyfriend: Hi, how have you been!
